What is the best part of working at the company?
There is no like part. One of most unorganized places I ever worked. No engineering practice, bad management.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management. There are no communication and cooperation between departments.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They insist take the PC training, but management don't follow them themselves.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful, to complete a task you cant rely on or get supports you needed from employees.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people and layed back bosses. Very chill environment

Pay raises were minimal and that is it

Very diverse and environment was workable

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work work work and when overtime is available it is given

Workers are great people. Management is something else. Had me refer a friend to weld nex o me as I worked and once he was certified they fired me with no real cause. If yo like welding in a room the same size as a janitors closet then go for it. Great benefits, workers in laval where great to work with and was a good experience. Once sent to Georgetown it was completely down hill.



Old plant not alot of situations where everything is working properly without being shoe stringed together. Mostly unwelcoming environment with the occasional harassment. Injuries are common and health and safety is forth priority. 

I've never witnessed till there such a great combination of lack of basic knowledge meanness and stubbornness on the management side. No long term view no know how to deal with situations/people no willingness to evolve 

Excellent place to learn for dummies....
No control what so ever when it comes to fixing problems they seem to be getting worse by the week.
No recognition or even a simple thank you when a job gets well done.

Higher plant managment is TOXIC with very little appreciation and no support. Does not provide any leadership or listen to constructive ideas.All of his managers are afraid and uses bully system.

Stelco is a great place to work! From a new grad to an experienced engineer, I was given with a lot of opportunities to learn and grow. The people are also very friendly, supportive, and inspiring. I will definitely recommend working here.

Very hot dangerous work co worker's are very bitter .out of date equipment. No ventation. The more you do the more they want..foundry works do the hardest job in the place. 

Good job but management problems
Communication problems
Low pay with no increase at all 
Was fun to work at years ago but things and people have changed 
No one seems to want to work anymore
