What is the best part of working at the company?
This is a great place to work.  I've never had an issue working here that hasn't been solved right away.  It's a very fun environment as long as you like kids.  I help kids with special needs and it is so interesting to figure out what makes things click.  The other e a's are very helpful and want to see anybody who comes to succeed.  There's lots of different things to be involved in as well.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The only thing that I would consider stressful about working for this company is sometimes you don't get the help that you need when you need it.  You do have to be able to problem.Solve on your own.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
As I said already, it is a wonderful place to work.  I had no experience when I started and now i'm into the routine and am thoroughly impressed with how things are run.

Working with some students with developmental/mental/social issues, this job was both challenging and rewarding.   Your day was never "typical", was always different and I learned something new everyday.   One minute we would be working on an assignment and the next shooting basketballs in the gym.   The hardest part of the day was to deal with the downward spirals which sometimes happened and learning to not get personally involved attached.  I understand the seniority list and the reasons for it; the hard part comes when I have four children to raise.  I cannot rely on "I may have a job in the fall or not".

As an EA its a good place to work, sometimes difficult to find a permanent job.
Lots of really nice co-workers, people are very friendly. 
Fun place to work and teachers often encourage staff to join in on conversations. 
Hardest part is that you get laid off for a couple months in summer. Though this is nice, if you enjoy having summer off, or have children of your own.

I grew up attending a school in the Interlake School Division. This division has always held a special place in my heart. To be able to give back to my community that helped me so much, is an indescribable feeling. I looked up to my teachers that they were the ones to influence me to become a teacher. The staff in this division are amazing who want to make a difference. I hope to return some day.

I am currently only a sub/spare.  This job is suitable for my flexibility however with the hours and on call basis, I require more constant/full time hours.

Working at Warren Elementary School was great!  The staff are amazing and supportive and the kids are amazing.  The management was helpful and encouraging and the rest of the staff were inclusive and encouraging.

great place to work interacted with may children and staff members everynight you felt like you made a difference in a child's live typical day was emptying trash dry mopping and wet mopping and using the floor polish and auto scrubber management and payroll were great

Great place to work, was able to work in different schools and help numerous children. The morning call in texts come at an appropriate time. The manegament at the the different schools are great and helpful

I like to work with INTERLAKE SCHOOL DIVISION because of environment is good and friendly.They never let me feel the new for that place and staff is always very cooperative.So if they hire me full time I will prefer to work with them.

I was hired on as an intern for the summer of 2011. I had a great supervisor and a great team to work with. I was fresh out of college so it wasn't a paying job but more of a learning experience for me and I was taught well. I would have loved to been hired on here.
