Unemployed is Better Then Employed at IO Solution

I cannot stress enough how terrible Io Solutions is as a workplace. The company demonstrates a complete lack of respect for its employees, offering no benefits or effective communication channels while constantly asking employees to do more without any reward or recognition.

To make matters worse, the majority of the supervisors are inadequate, lacking basic managerial skills and emotional intelligence. Instead of offering guidance and support, they insult agents and make the work environment unbearable. It is clear that Io Solutions does not invest in the training and development of its employees or prioritize their well-being.

Furthermore, the company pays its employees minimum wage, which is far below industry standards. This shows a complete lack of care for its workforce, who are the backbone of the company's operations. Employees are being exploited and undervalued for their hard work and dedication.

Adding insult to injury, Io Solutions has no respect for privacy. The company adds its employees to a WhatsApp group where all important communication takes place, demonstrating a complete disregard for confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Overall, it is clear that Io Solutions is a company that only cares about profit and not its employees. I strongly advise against working here, and urge the company's CEO to take a hard look at the working conditions and culture at Io Solutions. It is time for the company to start valuing its employees and invest in their well-being, rather than treating them as disposable resources.

IOS is a third party for a major Canadian telecommunications company. 

Working at IOS should be a last resort. The training is inadequate for what you'll experience on the phones. The team leads are not that helpful. If you have a question expect to wait 20+ minutes for a response, even in your first week when you know nothing. 

You are paid by the hour, but their horrible outdated system is always crashing and you won't get paid for that. You'll get trained to do more work but the pay stays the same. Pay is minimum wage with no yearly increase or bonuses. 

Entitled customers that want you to do things outside of company policy and when you say you can't they'll threaten to cancel their services, say you'll lose you're job and/or threaten to leave a bad survey. If your surveys are bad or you don't want to sell products they will fire you!

Managers are never available to take escalation calls, so the customer will take out all their anger and frustration on you. 

They force you to try to sell several products while on the call even when the customer doesn't need the service or has already said no. It is very uncomfortable. No work life balance as getting a day off, or vacation is very difficult. There are no Hollidays off either only Christmas and New Years.

If you are desperate for a job then this is perfect for temporary work. Look for other jobs while here, don't stay.

I really liked working here, but only because I genuinely enjoy customer service and I'm very comfortable around a computer. Working from home was a huge (and probably the only) benefit. That being said, there are a lot of issues that make this a two-star workplace. First, the actual hiring process wasn't great. The interviewer didn't know anything about the job so I didn't know much going in. The follow-ups were vague or poorly written/unprofessional. The equipment pick up was short notice and I was missing certain parts. Training was terrible. A lot of it was spent waiting around with nothing to do, usually without hearing from the trainer for 45+ minutes at a time. We learned next to nothing in the span of 4 weeks and a lot of what we did learn had no practical use or was outdated. When I started working, I found there was a steep learning curve as a result. Reaching out to support was very inefficient; it took forever to get a response and supervisors were so busy that they often misunderstood the question or didn't have the time to look at it in-depth. So, I can only recommend this job if you work well independently. I mean really independently. I would also advise that you regularly review your paycheck and be ready to follow up multiple times with your supervisor whenever you submit any kind of request.

My tenure as a sales representative at IO Solutions was an enriching experience, marked by a blend of positives and areas needing improvement. Firstly, the job itself wasn't bad; it provided a robust platform for honing sales skills and understanding the intricacies of customer engagement. The work environment was dynamic and often presented opportunities for professional growth, allowing me to develop a keen sense of market trends and effective sales strategies.

However, a significant drawback was the management style. The leadership at IO Solutions lacked the finesse and effectiveness one would expect in a thriving sales-driven environment. There was a noticeable gap in communication and support from the management, which often led to challenges in executing sales strategies efficiently. This aspect of the job could be frustrating at times and impacted the overall team morale and productivity.

Despite these challenges, my experience at IO Solutions was a valuable chapter in my career. It taught me not only about the nuances of sales but also the importance of effective leadership in fostering a supportive and productive work environment. It's an experience that has equipped me with skills and insights that will undoubtedly be beneficial in my future endeavors.

I don't even know where to start! I worked there for 1 and half year, invested my valuable time and energy, adhered to their ridiculous rules and regulations to the t; however nothing is good enough for them. From top management to the bottom no one has any clue how to run a company. Communication gap is their biggest downside which seems to have caused plethora of issues but they are least bothered about it! Management is downright terrible and they don't want to take any responsibility and redirect you to the TMs who never help. They are rude, irrational and clueless. To sum up, most rules are dumped on agents indiscriminately and if you breach a single rule they will kick you out. When I joined in January 2022 , it wasn't half as bad as it is now and the job didn't feel like we are working in Alcatraz. Fast forward 1 year they are introducing all these hideous rules and protocols to smother their employees compelling them to quit. It's so bad there is no hope at all. Ergo,don't waste your time! This place is a cesspool and it will take you nowhere. 

Company management is now just like garbage. Bonuses have been stopped more than 6 months for inflation even without letting us know.management has been replaced! Workload has been increased double and supervisors are now only to create pressure. They can't give any solution nor they can answer for any help if we ask about details. They only work to show performance to management to keep their job as company is terminationg employees without any prior notice and even for silly mistake. I worked 14 months here and last 5/6 months were horrible. They pay only minimum wage but expect to work double. My supervisor told to send her best conversation session with customer after my shift which is unpaid but will help them to increase business!!!! Supervisors never reply after their shift even if you fight in your shift with customers after their shift! 
Campaign -Fido. 

I worked there for 6 months and was in the Care department for Fido. 
Work is horible, you get 1 month of training where you learn around 50% of all things you have to know in order to properly assist people. Other stuff you have to understand yourself ( search for a document by using key words, which is very hard and stresfull as you do it while you are on the call)
If you will have issues with it( you will) you will have to reach support and wait for 10-20 min for reply, usually they just send to the document and say to follow (imagine reading 2 pages of policy while you are on the call) 
Also, you will have to present 2-3 offers on the call
Oh and if you will work in just General department ( i started there and then was transfered to call back dep) Calls will be NON STOP.
I don't recomend anyone to work there, first 3 months will be very hard, then when you get used to it and learn everething it becoming easier but still mad people, previous agent mistakes, and long wait for the reply from support will never go away.

Don't waste your time unless your PR is In the work or you have some other obligations.Take it as a headsup from someone who worked for this terrible company for 1 year and witnessed the situation go downhill in flesh. If you can deal with insurmountable stress for low income job such as being monitored around the clock,being pushed to make sales although it was never a part of your contract,having your pay cut for no reason,vacation not being approved for no reason be my guest and apply. Did I mention that this place is run by the worst management who has zero clue about what they are doing? At the end of the day it's all about their frivolous demand which you have to meet if you want to survive here.One slip and they will kick you out! So apply at your own risk if you want to lose your sanity.

Management/supervisors were absolutely useless and constantly had a power trip. They would punish you for not making enough sales that month even though when I initially applied they told me it was not a sales job, solely customer service. I would get yelled at and called slurs on a daily basis by customers, and scolded by supervisors. They hire a bunch of non Canadian residents to be supervisors who just take advantage of the system and don't even know what they are doing. If you enjoy working minimum wage for a high stress job by all means apply to IO Solutions. Also hours are not flexible whatsoever, especially if you are a student. When I first applied in the summer I told them that once I'm back in school I could only work weekends. They told me don't worry we accomadate for students. Once I started back at school they wouldn't give me the hours like were promised to me.
