They allow other ppl of different backgrounds to speak in their language while other people speak English, they favourtize employees, the management talks reckless about people with mental health issues. I'm going to the labour board .There was an employee that was a bully and didn't know anything about professionalism,talked negative about everyone, when she was frustrated she would act out infront of the passengers yet they still hired her . So moving forward , there was an incident where employees were eating in the corner by the front desk,so I thought it was ok to eat there, I get written up and I informed them I'm not the only one eating there , I get called into the office to discuss the eating situation, then the supervisor told me to stay away from the bully if you want to keep your job ,so I went back and told the bully then me and the bully get called into the office , the bully starts acting iratic and yelling in the office saying I told her this and that, and the supervisor was denying everything she told me in the office causing drama , so the bully starts putting her hand in my face aggressively ,I defended myself because I will not tolerate intimidation ,then I get fired  for no reason , rosemary claims they don't tolerate no violence policy meanwhile this bully was hired two months before and had already gotten into two arguments with two other employees , the management are unprofessional ,worse then front line employees, alot of bullying and gossip with this company

My experience at Indigo Parking highlighted serious concerns regarding management professionalism and employee treatment.
I was subjected to personal criticism from management that went beyond constructive feedback. Additionally, there was a lack of transparency and fairness I returned from a break to find my workstation reassigned and my role effectively replaced without any prior discussion.
Situations like this reflect poor communication and a lack of respect for employees. A professional workplace should ensure transparency, fairness, and dignity in how staff are managed.

Although the role provided exposure to administrative and customer service tasks, the overall environment did not support a positive or respectful employee experience.

This is far the worst place to work. I worked as a CSR (customer service representative) title but I was given a lot of cleaning duties seems like the company was more into a cleaning company rather than a parking management company. The operations manager and supervisor are really friendly and helpful they understand their employees work efforts. But in my experience the Genera Manager    was very rude in terms of behaviour he didn’t understand how hard their employees work a will always look for small faults in you and make a bing issue out of it. I felt I was mentally harassed at this workplace. The management also sucks there is a big lack of communication between the GM and operations manager one says something else and the other something else both contradict each other and vent their anger on employees. This job also has no employees benefits and you are at a constant threat of getting fired. Main point is that the job is easy to be done but the general manager makes it harder by mentally harassing you and not appreciating your hard work into consideration. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO NEVER EVER TAKE THIS JOB UNLESS IT’S YOUR LAST THING IN YOUR TABLE YOU WILL BE IN A CONSTANT THREAT OF GETTING MENTALLY CHALLENGED AND HARRASED

The management is terrible! They layoff almost everyone! Never did any of us hear a positive word from the manager or supervisors. If they have anything to say it is only negative. If they can't find anything you're doing wrong, they make up stuff. Like your pants are not black enough or you're not allowed to put your hands in your pockets or even a lady was not allowed to sit with legs crossed. Must work outside in -40 without proper jackets for beginning of winter. No breaks were allowed for the first 6 months I worked there. Only recently started to give 15 min for 8 hour shift. They make us move customers car from one location to another and then another before it finally goes to valet. Some coworkers needed time off for very important issue and they force them to quit. Supervisors just on cell phones all day while jockeys get written warning if they use phone. Supervisors don't even know how to do the job. Management takes an easy job and tries to make it complicated. Coworkers were cool. Management is very bad.

I enjoy the independence in my position. I have remote support with the HR team but for most day-to-day, I am making my own decisions. This has been great for my professional development and allowing me to become more knowledgeable and capable of researching answers.

The office environment is very relaxing and friendly. My co-workers are one of my favourite things about the job. Most people are very collaborative and ready to help! There can be stressful times but I feel that is more of a day-to-day thing.

Working frequently with management, I know them very well and I can tell you that they care about their staff. One of the struggles for the organization is employee retention at the field level. I think the organization should do more to make employees at that level happy as the focus most of the time seems to be on office staff.

This is the type of job you hold on to for a year to gain experience so you can put it on your resume and actually get a real job. It's poorly managed and it clearly shows once you arrive at the job site. There is no training, no direction, no anything. You end up applying different policies and procedures from previous jobs to this one, and try your best to get it to work. They often hire people who don't even have their high school. Not that that's a bad thing but it's hard to manage people who more often then not decided they don't apply themselves at anything. It pays a little bit more than minimum wage for most jobs and the paid okay for what the person has to do. But it's mindless work. And they employ a lot of mindless people. So enter the workforce get some experience put it on your resume and then exaggerate a little bit when you're actually applying for real job. 

This is a typical front-line customer service work environment.  So some good customer interactions, some challenging ones.  You are required to work for your pay, but not unreasonably so.  Indigo provides job shadowing and other training work as a base.

If you are a manager here, like everywhere else, Indigo expects you to have pride and a sense of responsibility in your Team.  Does this mean after-hours calls?  This should be rare if you've trained your Team well, but when it happens reasonably, you're compensated for your time and attention.  Management works together to ensure all the operations operate as smoothly as possible.

They balance well the needs and obligations to both their Clients and their staff. If you screw up, they'll work with you with refresher training and you are supported in your role until you succeed.  If you fail, it's on you.

The most worst human resource-management in an international company ever. I was told that uniform will be provided but they asked to buy similar pants from walmart. I was never given a winter jacket by the company and asked to go outside in the extreme cold of Winnipeg in a shirt. They didn't allow me to wear any other jacket since it would be a uniform rule violation. Made me quit my other job and later they started to give me less shifts and made an excuse that they don't need that much man power in summer since its not gonna be busy. Always complained about my uniform where they never provided me with proper uniforms. They provided with vest which is very dirty and never cleans them up. Has a company car CR-V, which is never cleaned, mud and dirt all over the sits and floor. Shortage of radio, only 15 minutes break in 8 hour shift.

Indigo has been the contractor for my workplace since 2018. I was happier with the previous contractor who offered extended health benefits with Great West Life and unlimited free parking anywhere in the city.  Indigo came in abruptly with little warning, I kept my position, but no benefits except free parking at my workplace. One manager tried to corner me into believing I had gone against procedure for a certain task and wrote me up. Truth was that procedures for this task changed every week (it seemed) and I went with the most recent, but he wouldn't buy it. It has spoiled my trust with the company. Our new manager is great though, so I stay.

Customer Service Department is very fast-paced which I like because I don't like to be bored at work. Sometimes it is stressful, but management makes sure we get breaks from the phones so that we can get caught up on our work.  And there are some quieter days as well, which helps to balance the work load. Before the pandemic we would have group lunches about once a month which was nice. Co-workers are great and there is lots of interaction with all the other departments and not just your own. Management is very approachable and you always feel like you can ask questions if you need to.
They promote within too so there are other positions to move to if you want to stay on and grow with the company.
