INDIVA had vast potential to make an impact in the cannabis market if quality was held in regards above quantity. Team leads are useless, do not know what is going on day to day, do not train new employees, and will not relay important, or positive feedback to supervisors, as it falls on deaf ears anyways. Management has ZERO practical, work experience. If managers spent as much time delegating and talking down to their employees as they did in actual production scenarios, this would be a very different company. Managers are completley disjointed from the ACTUAL happenings in production rooms, as they have never actually done any of the work for a full day. I had long given up on trying to communicate, as suggestions are not appreciated from employees anyways. Managers have no experience with the product they are producing, adding to the headache that knowledgable employees encounter daily as they try their hardest to maintain quality, while trying to maintain sanity. Do not expect a fair break, as you will spend the majority of the time changing, and maneuvering the maze that is this building. I was intised into this job with the high probability of moving up in this company, but upon experiencing the troubles first hand, I wanted no part in becoming a supervisors lap dog. Rump licking is highly rewarded here. If you don't mind working in a packaging/chocolate factory, then sign up. If you plan on working with cannabis, look elsewhere, as the grow side of the organization is being dismantled with precision, and conspiratorial motives. INDIVA now receives cannabis from grows across the country to process and package as a direct result of upper management failing you understand very basic fundamentals of growing cannabis. If you have a personality, and like to be heard, apply elsewhere. This is a workplace for zombies, and robots. Also, don't expect to be treated fairly, as leads and managers have chosen their favourites to receive special treatment. 

Day and night shift are VASTLEY different - I was on afternoons. Every day we would come in and spend a half hour or more fixing what day shift did, then running like heck to catch up (and we were often ahead of them in numbers despite this). Extremely HIGH STRESS and frustrating to come in every day and have to hunt for your materials, restock gloves and trash bags, empty trash etc before you even get to work. 
VERY MUCH A CLIQUE. The single most high-school-esque place I've ever worked. If you run with the clique you will give a 5 star, if you butt heads you will lose your job. 
Favoritism, blatant lies and general cattiness, secret exclusive online chats where they will talk about you rather then to you. Honestly such a joke - contradictions abound. 
Can't keep a manager more then 3 months, the turnover rate should tell you everything you need to know about applying here.

The hours eat your life, the friends will be your best for life but the rest will try every chance to trip you or worse. Pay is honestly low for cannabis right now. Just avoid.

This job was ultimately disappointing and did not meet expectations. While the role was advertised as organized and supportive, the reality was quite different. Training was minimal and inconsistent, leaving employees to figure out critical tasks on their own. Management communication was unclear and often reactive rather than proactive, which made even simple responsibilities more stressful than necessary. Scheduling frequently changed with little notice, making it difficult to maintain any work-life balance.

Workload expectations were high, but compensation and recognition did not reflect the effort required. Employee concerns were acknowledged verbally but rarely addressed in practice, leading to low morale across the team. Turnover was noticeably high, which further increased pressure on remaining staff.

While this position may suit someone looking for short-term work or a paycheck with minimal commitment, it is not ideal for those seeking stability, growth, or a respectful workplace culture. Overall, there is significant room for improvement.

When I started at Indiva I was unsure what to expect with the job. Previous to this job I worked as a web developer at a tech startup so I expected long hours of staring at website code everyday. I was incredibly glad to find out this wasn't the case.

Everyone at Indiva is very welcoming and by the end of my first day I already felt incredibly lucky to have this job. Every day is very different but in the best way. In the six months I've been here I've done so much and learned a ton about the company and look forward to being here a lot longer.

Indiva is growing faster everyday and is a company I am proud to work for!

Some supervisors can’t hide how they despise and see inferior people under their watch.
Indiva is a good company… however, supervisors and middle management makes it so sad to work there. My advice for new employees: don’t look at them, don’t raise your head, always look at the floor and if for some reason you catch their attention just fake faint or find a washroom to hide for a while. Otherwise, you’re out of job before the end of the shift.
They get their staff from an employment agency, so as one of the supervisors told me once: “You can be replaced as easy as replacing batteries for a remote control”

It is a company focused on continuous improvement and is highly driven by technology.

Regulations are not really fair when comparing LP with the black market.

Every day I work to ensure all equipment is ready to perform to the highest level.

There’s a reason there always hiring really micromanaged environment revolving door company high turn over rate every day someone is either quitting or getting walked out.half your break going up n down the stairs changing out n into your Ppe.Fast pace repetition fear based company looking for any excuse for you not to pass your probation.Keep an eye on swiping your card from room to room watching every move you do if you take 30 seconds too long you will hear about it .just another dead end job don’t waste your time no raise until after 2 years

The enjoyable part was when I first started there were great ppl. Then managment people would have power trips they'd punish you by putting in dish pit for months if they didn't like you.. supervisor was demoted for it. Team leads would do the same..  harassment many different kinds hr would turn there heads to it all.  I wouldn't get my breaks on time and sometimes I wouldn't get my third break.       No organization at all in that place honestly worst work place I've ever worked at ..

Pay is good for the mostly easy work

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Those in charge micromanage and stress that the job needs to be done better/faster yet there is still very poor communication across the board, and not just supervisors/team leads to production, it seems as though the whole company is plagued with poor communication and lack of general empathy for others, especially from those in positions of power.
