Not informed of the duties I would be tasked with as a pharmacist: standing in a +32 deg C stuffy, poorly lit, dirty warehouse checking rx's all day for embarrasingly low wages. 

When asked if I could bring a standing fan into the warehouse to make the temperature bearable, was told it was unsafe. This coming from the manager who did nothing to rectify bare wires hanging outside the fridges that twice smelled burnt. This also coming from a manager that allows broken chairs to be used by staff. One chair broken to the point that if one were to sit on it you you would end up on the floor, yet staff were expected to sit in it to print waybills. Another broken chair sitting in the lunch room (aka closet). 

Poorly running fridges that constantly break down, requiring cold chain orders to be moved over and over again.  Disorganized procedures and minimal communication. 

Manager and company does not appear to care about the temporary contractors - take advantage of primarily Canadian newcomers who won't likely raise concerns with the horrendous working conditions. 

Manager does not support staff when they are "yelled at" over the phone from a colleague in another city due to small meaningless errors on packing slip. Several staff reported being "put in their place" by this colleague, yet the manager does nothing. 

Witnessed a contractor get fired yesterday after 2.5 days for a packaging error that most likely was not her fault. Yes, the worker had a bit of an attitude, but only because she was also not informed that as a pharmacy assistant required to have +++ experience with Kroll, pharmacy billing, etc , she would be sticking labels on products and packing boxes for delivery all while being paid minimum wage. Manager could have easily listened to her concerns and encouraged a more positive attitude, but instead chose to fire this person without so much as a warning. 

This contractor was told she would not be paid for her 2.5 days of work as she "broke the contract". 

I suggest one strongly considers a trial period of 1 week if you are offered a position with this company.

Innomar strategies misrepresents itself as a company that values its employees. Many relatively trivial initiatives are used to support this notion. Its human resources management practices with regards to entry-level employees reveal an unfortunate intention of exploiting labour with the sole intention of driving profits. I was provided very minimal training, being deprived of the training that the organization states they typically provide and blamed for the result of being poorly-prepared to perform my job duties from the beginning. I am absolutely shocked by the degree of nepotism in this company, to the point where I was the only new entry-level employee that was hired solely based on my own merits. My observation is that a lack of professionalism is tolerated due to connections and seniority. I therefore have lost confidence in my ability to succeed in this company based on my demonstrated abilities and my true potential. If you are experienced in the role at Innomar you are applying to and if you are a nine-to-fiver who is happy to simply work hard for a paycheque without expecting anything else, your experience might be different.

I took this job to help patients but everyone is so overworked, short-staffed and just given excuses like “this is just how it is right now” by associate managers. They’ve taken on too many patients and they don’t have enough employees. They require proof of covid jab even for remote workers. The parent company, AmerisourceBergen, is part of the World Economic Forum, along with Pfizer, one of their major clients. Their agenda is “let’s get everyone on pharmaceuticals and make the government pay for it.” Upper management doesn’t care about the employees or patients, all they do is pat themselves on the back and collect their big pay cheques and bonuses. The phone queue is so busy some days you can’t even think straight by the end of the day. Patients are not getting scheduled for dates that work for them and the company acts like they should just be grateful they’re even getting treatment. It’s ugly some days. I wish they could do better but the turnover in the lower echelons is so high they can’t keep good people to promote. It’s a job, if you need one, and you can work remote, but keep looking for something better. 

Poor and unprofessional management, no proper training or work evaluation.  Shared an office with people who watched netflix during their shifts, wear PJs to work and bring their blankets to nap! LOTS of office politics and gossiping. 

HR is incompetent, hard to reach and simply does not care about employees issues or special requests.

Terrible office management, warehouse manager runs office poorly with very low budget. We had to bring our own cream and milk for our coffee! As well as, our own stationary items! No joke. 

Management at Innomar: Poor morale. Lack of understanding, accountability, motivation and does not provide feedback. 

With the constant change, managers are bullies who ask for too many things to get done, don't follow up or praise hard work and will throw you under the bus simply because they personally don't like you (or for bringing attention to existing issues).

Employee survey was taken last year, where 80% of employees found issues with their management, yet  NOTHING changes! 

The worst place to work! AVOID AT ALL COST!

Innomar doesn’t value their employees, they value the $$$.  Senior Management is terrible and HR department sweeps everything under the carpet and often pays out employees who make a complaint or let’s them go with “severance “ without cause. 
If you are in the eastern provinces, than you are treated better than the western provinces as employees.
Senior management is toxic and unsupportive. Often will pressure to make unethical decisions. the nurses that work here are not respected for their expertise. 
They move high school graduates to management positions with no skills with communication. Scheduling department is the worst. Don’t fall for the sign on bonuses nurses!!! Senior leadership talks behind your backs and than put on meetings to “support “ you. Lots of favouritism. Save yourself the grief and don’t work here or be fooled by the remote office. Pay is low for a pharmaceutical company that makes billions. 

I have learned a great deal with respect to Case Management, troubleshooting and learning even more with respect to prioritizing and organizational skills. My computer skills have increased and improved. Management has taught me more than I can express. Most difficult part of the job acclimatizing to "client"-based mentality-differwent world than I was used to. My co-workers are exemplary and very giving and willing to help as required. Dealing with patients has been my favourite part of the job as I feel rewarded when I know I have helped to ease their pain making "the process" easier to bear knowing there is someone to assist them and listen to them, just when they need someone to "be there" for them.

As a growing company, there  have been some growing pains, but Innomar is quickly adapting to a leading employer while not only making the patient first, but caring about the employee providing this care.

Total Rewards and compensation are competitive, The Wellness team offers a number of events that show this company cares, although the lead team could be more involved.

A very friendly work culture with lots to do and learn in order to grow with the company - for the right candidate who is driven to want to learn this business of many outlets, whether a call centre environment, working with insurance providers for reimbursement, to patient care.  The best part is knowing you are making a difference!

Expect to work at least 1 hour overtime every single day just to keep up with your work load. Salary is poor and higher management does not care about the poor feedback they receive. 

A reasonable workload would probably have you take care of up to 500 patients, but that is not the case here. It is not unusual for a Personal Care Specialist to have 7-900 or more patients. 

If you go on holidays, it is up to YOU to make sure someone is covering your patients. Meaning you need to ask a coworker to do double the work for the same pay. 

Please note they do NOT pay you for overtime. It is simply expected that your work gets done everyday.    

The job itself was enjoyable though becomes repetitive and a bit boring over time. Daily work consists of seeing patients in their home or the clinic and providing education and medication administration. Coworkers were amazing and made daily work life fun and enjoyable. Management is awful, as is much of the communication provided (or not provided) to employees. There is a tendency to "throw people under the bus", and management seem to look for someone to lay blame on vs. looking at the bigger systemic issue. I did enjoy my time with the company, but near the end I had enough of the issues mentioned above.

It's a big company so there is lots of potential for lateral moves and some for advancement. 
Pros include: good health benefits, job security, option to work remotely, good work-life balance. Salary is decent, but annual raise was disappointing despite excellent performance review. Bonus also is tied to departmental performance not personal performance, so again ot very motivating to go above and beyond. Seems to have issues with upper level management. Lots of inefficiencies. The company is growing faster then they can handle, all departments have been struggling and overworked for about 6 months. Employee satisfaction doesn't seem to be a priority.
