Working here was not too bad. Only thing was wages were not that good.  But gain experience in loading and unloading rail cars.  Guys here were pretty good to work with easy going at the time I was there. 
Supervisor was pretty good just they should rotate the shifts from nights and days would give everybody a chance to work days and nights. Other than that pretty decent job wages got to be better then they are.  

I worked at the concord location- there are people who look out for you but the others. when you complain the mgmt lies and says that no one has ever made that complaint before but it's evident that its an ongoing issue. the benefits are nice if you can last that long, and even if you last that long the issues will persist. def. would not recommend anyone to work here it is like a cult.

The only down fall was the favouritism from mangament @#@#ing he workers, good co workers awesome times, i was a switch crew supervisor on 7024 and i had the best crew any one could ask for. Oh ya and train master chris was an donkey.

My co-workers were fantastic, however the management at the time was abusive and thrived on organized chaos.  We were micro managed and abused,  I was suspended from work for something that I was not even there for.  I was on holidays when the incident happened but was blamed and reprimanded.

A typical day would be offloading rail cars and from time to time other vehicles
I learned overhead crane.  Rail yard rules
And operating the train on site.
 Workplace culture in this place is Toxic from the manager all the way to HR in concord.
The only thing to enjoy was the pay.

I have had a great time working here.
Lots to learn, lots of different materials and machine to work with. 
There has been a great cultural change towards safety and not only from the workers but also manager.

management is always there for every employee. coworkers were good but the staff turnover rate was up and down for awhile toward the of my time with the company. I enjoyed being home every night and being around my family.

significant lack of communication and professionalism. i turned down other commitments and job offers for this just for them to withdraw at the very last minute over minor miscommunication on THEIR end.  you’re better off finding someplace else.

Poor training, no direction. If someone is good at something,  dont expect to be trained on it for a long time. Daytime management never really communicated with the night crew unless it was negative.

I have been employed by this company now for 12 years and I have always been treated fair. Everyone gets along and the atmosphere is good. This company has come a long way since I first started.
