A typical day is troubleshooting issues with units, dispersing work among the guys, ordering parts, as well as regulating the work flow. Above this is organizing the week, month and year with safeties on units. K-line has many projects on the go and things can change very quickly and so can the work flow. A big part of what I do is helping the guys keep the flow going as well as prioritizing what needs to be done.

Great people, and hard workers 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Critical issues but they were rare 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
pretty relaxed, as long as you work hard you should be fine, and I was left to work pretty independently 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
basic 8-4 there is less work after 2pm

Great company for the most part. However its been a little slow for work lately and I have a wife , kid , and kid on the way. I would like to be able to buy a house in the next few years so I need a better income.

As an operator for this company, I have the utmost respect for K-Line. When I needed rigging, hand tools or anything else, K-Line delivered. No questions asked. I would go back to work for them anytime...

The best company I've worked for in the last three years, lots of travel, good guys to work with and lots of fun. Good equipment, repaired within one to three days of reporting repairs needed.

I enjoyed working there at first, but the foreman of the body shop made it very difficult to enjoy your job. 
Be careful you dont get injured because they will kick you to the curb with no remorse. And treat you like you are a horrible person for claiming a injury. 


I have been with k-line for 6 years and have learned a great deal in many aspets of the trade and have been privledged to work with many utilities and the different construction of each utility

I have been at k-line for six years. During that time I have learned a great deal within this trade. If you like being outside and in a fast paced but safe environment than this would be a great job to do.

K-Line is a good place to work if your part of the "boys" group. Forget about being yourself it's a fit in or get out kind of atmosphere. Might be different in a different area though because the company itself is great to work for. 

K-Line has a culture of hard working and dedicated individuals.  Additionally the environment is such that motivated individuals feel empowered to act for the betterment of all.
