I work at the K9 Security and want to write about my experience.
K9ine is family run company. They treat you good and not just like number. Owners are working in uniform same as guards and you can talk to them easy. Most shifts you do patrol, help people find place, answer questions, and be visible. Many time it is customer service and talking with people. If you like help people, this job is good.
Some parts are hard. You stand long time and sometimes people are rude or angry. This is normal in security job.
I really like the free in house training. Training is useful and not boring. Instructor know a lot and explain very clear and simple. Training is fun and easy to learn.
Overall K9ine is good place to work if you want learn more, get better, and feel part of team.

A company that takes and gives back to the community and not their newer employees. There's always someone that's been there longer that deserves more. Manager and guards in uniform were unprofessional with their conversations while on duty. Most guards group up and stand around at events. Easy job if you don't mind hours taking a nose dive after event season. Be ok with not doing your job when the owner isn't around and you'll do fine with this company. The managers don't care and get complacent without the owner's direction and further support the slacking off work environment.

Unstable ownership that allows a toxic environment. Expect an unfair and incorrect paycheque constantly, and it will be an uphill battle to have errors corrected. Mandatory training... they'll make you pay for that, too.

You'll be told we're a big family, and it will be all smiles while they use you for whatever the next big thing is.

It is a revolving door of staff. There have been decent hard working people there but they quickly leave when they too figure out that it is an unstable and toxic work environment. 

Don't let their social media fool you, 90% of the people on there don't work there anymore. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
You learn a lot and they work as a family which makes the environment conducive to work in

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having to change shifts to accommodate others who will not have pitched up for work

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The culture is all inclusive and they accommodate you a lot

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Awesome one.They make sure you are  comfortable and teach you their way of doing things by the book

I’ve worked here for just over 6 months and have had the amazing opportunity to moving into 3 amazing positions through my time here. I started as a resident watch in one of the companies LTC contracts and quickly moved to a Cannine handler position with the companies new K9. Now I have been moved to another amazing position and I couldn’t be more happier! 

Unstable ownership that perpetually lies. Toxic environment. If you work here, expect a paycheque and nothing more - that's exactly how you be treated. You'll be told everything is great and it will seem that way - until it's not.

There are pretty decent people that will cycle through on occasion. However, they quickly leave when they too figure out that they're just a number.

I really can’t fault this company. They are branching into different sectors which is great for a person who wants to try different roles and diversify within the industry. Open lines of communication to supervisors and employer. Pay was highly competitive. Good people to work with and I enjoyed my time with K9ine. 

I cant complain with my job, the owner and most management are easy to deal  with and work with you. The hours are typical for security work (8-12 hour shifts). It is a great stepping stone job and the pay is better than most security companies. Benefits are good. The owner works with you, great guy. Paid breaks.

Always called in on days off or asked to stay after my own scheduled shifts. No appreciation for employees. Could never make plans because if you said no to working extra or longer shifts, they’d make you feel bad. This is NOT a “team player” company.  

Always called in on my days off, always worked short staffed, bounced around to things you’re not trained on, and overall treated poultry when asking basic questions.
