I have been with this company for over a year now and I can truthfully say it was a lifesaver for me. The hours helped me get my life and myself back on a right path and for that I am very grateful. A typical day would start with a briefing of what we will be doing during the shift that day which really comes in handy especially if you have trouble with pronunciation of certain words/phrases/places and/or names. The management is very understanding if you have a personal matter that affects your shift for the day. In saying that , as long as you are honest and respectful you will always be treated with respect from the supervisors/management. The best part of this job is that it has taught me how to control my anger as well as teach me how to have a bit more patience. I could not be more grateful for this job being a part of my life as it has helped me have a better relationship with my family overall mainly because it has taught me self control. The hardest part of the job is dealing with some very ignorant and disrespectful clients, and some of the things they say do hurt your emotional well being but honestly it gets easier after time to just block out the negativity. As for the actual workplace it is very noisy and there is a lot of immature people that do not have a proper work ethic as they are too busy socializing during work hours which does get very aggravating as well as it causes a lot of distractions while trying to work. Asides from that the workplace environment is nice because you get your own cubicle with your own trash & recycling bin, a sheet of rebuttals if needed during your shift as well as a sheet that gives very clear descriptions as to how to code the calls. Anytime you're not sure of how to code the call you can always refer to the info sheet located at your own cubicle.

I quit on day two within the first 30 minutes of my shift. My mind changed so fast of this place between the 1st day of training and the 2nd day of the job.

What changed my mind so fast was due to the three supervisors present  on site on that day, seen that I clearly needed help at the time, and did not care to help me! I did not feel wanted there.

During the preshift meeting, the unprofessional manager in the meeting mentioned about a lot of absent employees and that the attendance numbers were extremely low.

Actions speak louder than words. The proof is clearly in the pudding!
If the company as a whole doesn't care about individuals, then how do you expect individuals to care about the job?

I was not expecting anyone to hold my hand per say, but I also expected a company to take better initiative to to help employees much better ,then instead of being thrown out to the pack of wolves.

Based upon experience , there should be a sectioned work station area with functional computers for new employees where the supervisors or trainers can supervise for at least a few days, then that will help make the place more organized and give people a sense of belonging.

People do not just get up and leave a job for no reason. (re-read that last sentence again)


I absolutely know what time my shift starts the day before, so that's very good as I have a good sense of how to plan my day. 

As a home agent, a typical day for me starts when I open all the links/systems/programs I would need for my calls before going ‘Available’. As a courtesy, I greet my supervisor/colleagues ‘Good morning’. My supervisor immediately replies; that gives a morale boost to start a productive day. My supervisor always provides on our group chat the latest updates as reference to keep us abreast with the most current information in dealing with our client's inquiries. My supervisor provides the best advice that would help us especially with irate customers. 

As the saying goes, time flies when you’re having fun; my shift just goes so swiftly! Receiving words of appreciation from my supervisor and kind words from clients who are so appreciative of what I am doing makes my day! I really love my job! 

Indeed, KGS has dedicated and effective leaders/supervisors, and a very supportive management that brings out the best in every employee, recognizing employee accomplishments. I am always motivated and inspired by their dedication and quest for excellence. 
Respect in the workplace and open communication is practiced in KGS. KGS promotes a positive work environment.

The training for my group was drawn out over 3 weeks then all shifts were canceled for 5 days due to American Thanksgiving. Management doesn't train people properly before going on the phones - usually you would go over objection handling, rebuttals, how to keep people engaged, etc. Ive done this work before and got several surveys/polls done per shift, but for someone who's never done this before I think the experience might feel abysmal.

A couple of the supervisors are nice enough, but they don't actively check in to see how new employees are doing. 

The job posting is *very* misleading as it says it's full time with the option for part time but in reality its really "on call" work with mostly part time hours. 

Pay isn't through direct deposit - if you don't have it mailed to you, there's only one day you can come in and the time is chosen by the first letter of your name (no joke!). 

If you make mistakes they don't tell you, but they do see them and will prevent you from completing training so you can work from home.

OK job if you're desperate but don't count on regular stable hours. Please don't let this job stress you out or feel bad! Most call centers are ran far better than this one. There's better companies out there. 

The job could be quite nice if it was run more professionally. 

My favourite part about this job is that they call you a “Team” but you never directly work with any of your co workers. You get put in a server of like 50 people on Skype and I could have like 12 surveys done already (quota is 8) and they would still complain and type to everyone in the group chat that quota is down and people aren’t working hard enough but I’m over here busting my butt over quota…
Never got a raise or promotion or thanked for having over 8 surveys a day sometimes 11-14 a day and nobody ever personally messaged saying thank you or anything. You start at different time everyday. Forget having your shift given to you ahead of time, your told the night before whether you work the next day or not. I’ve had it where they messaged me 20 mins before the shift starts telling me we worked. So if you like being told you have to work in 20 mins and getting random shifts canceled here and there then this place is for you. Lots of forced overtime and then when you say you can’t work they make you feel bad. Threaten to take away shifts when your co workers are underperforming like I said I average over 8 surveys a day so I’m okay but they message the entire group chat saying they will take away shifts because of under performance when I’m exceeding quota and working as hard as I can. You get bad attitude from management when you did nothing wrong.

In a world that thrives on innovation and dynamic challenges, a boring job often stands in stark contrast, offering little more than a paycheck in exchange for countless hours of tedium.

I worked for this company for about six months and it was a huge mistake working for this company. Management  does not care about you at all they terminate you as fast as they can hire you! If I could rate this company I would give it zero stars instead of one star. You’re not registered with the Canadian government so eventually you will be paying CRA a lot of money because you’re not paying taxes at all when you work for this company. They do not pay their employees correctly and they cut hours and only give ours to people they like! I would stay clear from this job and this company if I were you. Management doesn’t train people properly if you ask for help no one will help you the system never works!!!  The whole job is you constantly getting surveys and if you don’t get surveys they tell you log out in the middle of your shift and you’re not getting paid for the rest of the shift! Management is extremely disrespectful and rude they constantly harass you to get surveys and they don’t care about the quality of the surveys they just want surveys and on top of that they don’t pay you properly they’re paying cheque  not direct deposit!

This company is the worst of the worst the slumlords of all employers . If you want to be micro managed with management of people who make their own rules up as they go then apply to get hired. These people hire anyone and I mean anyone.They pay $14 an hr for part time and $15 for fulltime. Shifts are 3:30pm to 12am midnight. They love to use threats that if you miss shifts immediate termination. If you don't get completed surveys you get sent home. They cut shifts short on you. This company will drain your energy and you will have absolutely no life for family or friends. Management  is unprofessional and team leads have favorite people. Management/HR are full of broken words and are known for saying they will integrate you to position within company based on experience few days  later no action.
As this company often loves to say to their employees  this is unacceptable!!!  This company should be on the top list of worst companies to work for.

Five months and counting. Everyone gets the opportunity to earn a living, many things make a company a great place to work. KGS gives you a chance to prove your worth. 
*Supportive supervisors and a very laid back work environment. *Management is very accommodating and flexible with schedules. 
*Multi-cultural environment, friendly and respectful colleagues.  
*Work can be very challenging sometimes but hey... who can find a job that is not challenging or stressful? I guess it just depends on how a person responds to it. If you are not challenged meaning you are not growing, so it's a win-win situation. 
*Pay is good considering the nature of the job. 
*The company has its gym, a place to do yoga if you're into it. 
This is easily the most diverse workplace I have ever worked with and it makes me proud that we live and breathe inclusiveness here every day ...such an open-minded and safe environment for everyone.

My work with the Arrow workforce solutions so far has been a really good journey. My typical day would start with debriefing and zoom sessions to encounter any technical issues or problems we face as call center agents in dealing with our clients. We are allowed to ask any questions so that we are ready to start our day with confidence. I have achieved an experience of how we can work in a government environment and how we can contribute to the vaccine roll-out plan as being the first point of contact in booking appointments for the public. The managers and supervisors seem to be very helpful, always supportive, and would help whenever needed to solve our issues. The hardest part of the job is when clients lose patience and do not try to understand the policy we follow and get irate and as being an agent we need to calm them down. The best part of the job is I am able to contribute something to this pandemic and when clients feel happy and thankful to when we manage appointments at their convenience.
