I started as a water meter installer in Sudbury, and recently I have been promoted to a supervisor position. After I started, I received a detailed training basically to set me up for success at my new job. After few months I was promoted, and I have nothing but great things to say about the company and managers. They really care, and support their staff. They are very knowledgeable and always ready to answer questions. There are lots of opportunities in the company as long as you put an effort in the job. I understand, someone may have negative experience, but to be honest it's probably because they didn't even go to work in the first place, or had some attendance issues. I personally have nothing but great things to say. Highly recommended place to work. 

This was a promising start as they offered to teach the skills and things needed to do this job. Quickly it became apparent that the communication between staff and the office was non existent, the bonus pay or piece rate was unachievable and every choice they made toward operational changes made that even harder to achieve.
Favouritism is rampant as management covers for specific employees and offers them better deals. The care for their field employees is negligent and they can’t even keep up on having stocked PPE 
Employee turn over is continuous because of the lack of care. 

What i enjoy most about the KTI atmosphere is the open minded corporate culture. I never feel micro-managed, and am always empowered to bring new ideas and suggestions to my team.
A typical day, involves managing my various duties, which I'm free to prioritize in the way I feel works best. I am able to work remotely most days, which is great for my current family situation. 
When I'm at the office, the fully equipped gym/showers, make lunch workouts a great option.
The hardest part of the job is occasionally having to deal with the odd difficult customer. The most enjoyable part is socializing with coworkers after a long day.

My teammates were a joy to work with. They were always willing to collaborate to solve a problem. The Gas Team Mgr is highly skilled, knowledgeable and provided thorough training and guidance during my time at KTI. I highly recommend that KTI  invests in their talented employees. KTI would greatly benefit from documenting efficient processes and provide detailed training in all departments. A clear understanding of roles and responsibilities needs to be defined. Repeated requests.

Staff encouraged to pursue additional training and advancement as part of personal development objectives.

Great sales team. They don’t ask you to do anything they wouldn’t do. Also very fun to work with.

High performers with very strong work ethic. If you are looking to coast, this isn’t the place for you.

If you want mentorship by some seasoned sales professionals and are willing to push yourself you can be very successful at KTI.

Only 1 washroom and its disgusting 
No lunch room, made to eat on floor where its dirty and dusty
No training or support with a high demand for results
No safety
Low Wages for type of work
Performance reviews are a joke and don't make sense

The harder you work the less your appreciated. Everyone is out for themselves, starting in middle management. People don't do there jobs and they wonder why they are loosing customers on a regular basis. Their customer service is horrible, in fact they don't have any customer service.

They are very unorganized and always changing things last minute that affects its workers. Barely any work life balance. Very heavy work load and alot of multitasking. The work isn’t spread out fairly. It is ok work place but those things make it hard to love after awhile you will burn out.

The autonomy you have with certain jobs.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Smaller company, so safety practices and procedures are a work in progress
