The most difficult challenge I've experience is lead generation.  If you want to have a pizza, you go to a pizza restaurant or order one and it is delivered to you.  But if someone wants to buy a home or sell their home, they do not come to my office.  I have to find those people that want to buy, sell or invest and this has been my greatest challenge.  Quite unlike the pharmaceutical business where you have a list of doctors, their contact information and history of previous contacts.

On a typical day I could ben found managing the contact database and social media as well as processing listings or offers as they came in. Since starting with no real estate background I learned quite a lot. Not only have I learned the paperwork and processes involved but also what realtors really do behind the scenes. This has proved to be a great learning experience. Management and co-workers are great, it is a very positive and open environment where anyone would be willing to have you bounce ideas off of them. The hardest part of the job is figuring out which systems need to be implemented and which work best for the team in its entirety, rather than one person. Though a challenge it proved to be enjoyable to find the ones that did work. The most enjoyable part of the job is the people, everyone in the office is always bubbly and each worker has a unique personality making it a very welcoming place to work.

An excellent brokerage to start with and learn the basics of the real estate profession. Learned many effective sales strategies perfected and handed down through KW's parent company in the states (KW International - KW University) - which has developed it's own in-house "university" with various week-long training classes.

At the end of the day, I did not receive any leads or business from the office - as it is expected for you to use the tools they provide you to build your own business and clientele. Ultimately it was not worth the money paid in by our team, as there are other brokerages who provide the same service for much less cost.

I recommend Keller Williams to anyone who is looking to start their career fresh in the real estate industry, it will be their decision to decide which brokerage fits their needs the most - and which will provide the best value.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Company is very disorganized.  Employees get moved around between offices and there is no structure. Procedures are also implemented and changed on an ongoing basis, therefore, there is a constant turn around of personnel. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The constant change of office procedures and employees. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very disorganized atmosphere, management changes procedures on a regular basis.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Hecktic and frustrating when management can’t agree on organization and procedures.

Starting of on commission is always hard but the support her is amazing

E#ach day is radically different but I control my days

KW Complete employed the absolute minimum staff they could manage and relied on constant unpaid overtime from their staff to get the work completed. No backup from management if anything went wrong, no matter who was at fault. Training was promised and not provided. Lots of pushing employees to buy into the Keller Williams brand and spend their own money on it. The other employees were good but the company turnover is so high that it was hard to form working relationships.

I participated in many of the training programs such as The ONE Thing, BOLD Training, and on going coaching with the Mike Ferry Organization and in house training.

Untouchable training, systems, and business practises in the Real Estate field.  This company goes far beyond any other when it comes to the training, allowing you to touch on the best practises within the world when it comes to Real Estate.  Truly unmatched for the systems and models it follows for the ultimate experience both for its agents and its clients.
