Management shows too much favoritism, PSW'S  Never praised for a job well done,  Hard to get extra incontinence products when needed, ( they are like gold to management, Great team work amongst the PSW staff , RPN'S and RN'S are always suspicious, and follow  care staff around , sometimes hiding behind a door, or barging in a room without knocking. ( what happened to dignity and respect for the resident) , Union represents staff poorly. the most rewarding part of a personal support worker position is trying to make the lives of our seniors less stressful and rewarding , loved the team work which most psws showed.

There is no time allowed for normal conversation with residents. Everything has to be done fast under lots of pressure.
The management keeps on taking the simplest supplies away because of finances but it makes our job even harder.
Co workers are awesome! They mostly help each other.
The hardest part of the job is having NO time to interact with residents.
The most enjoyable part is the jokes making with residents while helping them.
What I have learned is that nursing homes are just people factories.
I hope I never have to use one.

Kensington was a great place to work however people there have so much seniority that you will never get fulltime. Management does not care and will not fix any problems. Dietary manager does not order the correct food items and you will often be without any margarine, meat, or veggies. The dietary aides are very rude and bully you. 

Working short every time without appreciation from management was one of the hardest part of the work at Kensington village.

If you love to be bullied, this is the place for you. Bullied by staff and management. 
The expectations for RN’s is overwhelming. You will never be supported by any management in this company. They only worry about their pockets 

I was only here for placement, but I enjoyed all the employees and everyone I came into contact with, they were all amazing people and make everyday a joy to work there.
If I had the opportunity I would love to work there.

It was a very nice experience, I was working there as an RPN student in the first year. The environment is nice, the staff member collaborates with each other which makes work more effective.

Have to work all year round and miss time with family.  Management was questionable, not always supportive of staff.  Decent pay and benefits, but not a great culture.

I develope how to approach old people. what kinds of words shall I use with them how to make them happy give them a meaningful life and respect their religious views.

The staff and management are fully cooperative. the working atmosphere is very good. Supervisors are so friendly. The kitchen is so neat and tidy. It is a good learning experience.
