Kernels

Kernels is a good company. They have good product. At Kernels, we produce pop-corn. People working at Kernels are friendly and really helpfull. They help each other to get the work done. Management team is also friendly and helpful. They always lead the team to finish daily duties. We enjoy working everyday at 9.30am to 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. The hardest part of the job is when we have more than 1800 products to produce then pack and send them away in just 5 hours work. And we only have two persons in our packing area. That was a pressure to us but we have finished everything well and always be in front of schedule.

I worked at Kernels in Belleville a long time. 
I use to love getting up and going to this job. 
Eventually, the management and bosses started to play games with everyone. Accuse them of stealing and say we weren't showing up for our shifts. Even though we weren't scheduled to work that day. 

Everything got really messy. 
He would also pick favorites and turn them against the other co-workers and have them start to harass the other workers, to the point where they would just quit.

Ever sense we got new management, it’s gone downhill, they expect us to do things they don’t even uphold themselves, when trying to get answers to our questions we get shooed away, even the person we are told to contact from head office has said themselves they do not care of the situation going on. We have no one on our side. 

I worked about 6 days a week at Kernels and loved it, as well as my bosses. I learned a lot about my work ethics and about myself well working there. I LOVED it until a new owner came in, tried switching  up everything. We were always running out of oil, foil bags, sugars as well as small and medium bags. It ruined working at kernels for me.

For a place with so few employees there is always some kind of drama. The manager takes part in the gossip and will talk about staff behind their backs.

Great place to work with exceptional people. Provides more experience in the customer service as well as you learn how to make popcorn. Definitely, a wonderful place to work.

Kernels is a really great job experience. This job requires alot of multi tasking since you are mostly working alone. Due to this job I learned how to multi task and learned how to be more responsible.

Not much to do on weekdays, but it gets very busy on the weekends 
Products are made in the store so if working alone, it would be difficult to serve customers while making the popcorn.

It was a good job for anyone still going to school as they would accommodate your work times. It can get lonely as there is usually only one person on shift at a time and can be rather slow at times.

My exp at Kernels so far has been good. I started in Oct of 2019 and it is a fast paced environment but the people are friendly and nice. Sometimes you get rude customers but its all apart of the job
