Kingswood Cabinets

A couple of things to note about working at Kingswood:
- you will work every other Saturday, minimum. 
- during weeks you do not work Saturday, you will need to make up the 4 hours you "miss" by putting in overtime throughout the week. This is not noted on the job contract or mentioned by anyone prior to starting
- you will be expected to work Overtime as Kingswood is very busy. Unfortunately, they refuse to hire the correct number of bodies to handle this work during regular hours.
- you will NOT be paid overtime. No time-and-a-half, no banked hours, not even paid at your normal wage! You are expected to work for free.
- most employees are terrified that if they don't work overtime, they will be fired and replaced. 
- you get paid salary, but don't get vacation during your first year... So really you are working two weeks for free during your first year with the company.
- little to no flexibility on schedule. You live to work, everything else is secondary, right?

I can only recommend working for this company if you enjoy being stressed and underpaid, while only getting half a weekend every other week.

Lack of hours
The communication between management and the delivery team is all over the place. Go into work every day not knowing what is going out for delivery and what isn’t.
The management expects too much out of the delivery team. They aren’t willing to hire anyone else and believe three guys can do the work load of six guys.
The management doesn’t care how long it takes for the delivery team to get the work done as long as it’s done.
Pay is  very bad. They offer yearly wage raises of 1$. Had lots of turnover because they won’t offer raises even if the people have been there along time or because they have found a better job.

The training was amazing with this Company. They gave me multiple ways to get trained. The work was fun when there was work. Yes, you will have to learn to be independent and help organize things. I think the only problem was that there wasn't much growth and it just wasn't busy at the office. I wish I had received more responsibility but management wasn't willing to let go of things. I enjoyed working there and management was nice. 

Management is approachable and tries to help out as much as they can. Also, since most of them started to help out on daily jobs and be more hands on, workload seems to go down a bit. As for the rest of the team, there’s collaboration and teamwork. Each departments contributes to achieve company’s target.

Should be called timmys cabinets
There is no company presence to speak of. You're working for a guy and its a revolving door of young disposable labour. Highly disorganized and a combination of verbal and handwritten instructions with no consistency or flow of daily work. It is hour to hour and being pulled in different directions and then waiting for the next task because something was forgotten. High turnover and then rehiring as needed.

zero trust between each other in shop

Hard, worrisome, endless blame from office or colleagues,

This is a good place to grow and develop your skills. They provide excellent training opportunities to ensure the employees are educated. 

I am always treated with great respect. Management are trying to improve the workplace environment. They don't hesitate to take necessary actions to protect the health of the company and make the workplace more enjoyable.



VERY VERY BUSY COMPANY, work 6days and sunday off。 2 shifs 6:30am--3pm / 3pm--11:30pm， overtime daily and Semi -obsessive，so U get 110 -120 hours/ biw 。once U denied， sub-supervisor report and move U to the other departments。1.5* overtime pay affter 88 hours。



English is not the first language, some long term employees that have been there for 10 years plus have been put in management positions they are not qualified or trained for and lacking a team atmosphere. It was a pleasure to work with people there.

Bad workplace cultures 

Workers like animals that they don't care about you.

4 hours no break 
No washroom and records you if you go to washroom. 

Force people too work when you feel it is not safe and healthy.
