This facility is the pin up for flavor of the month initiatives. Whatever knee jerk reaction to a problem that is on the radar for the senior leadership team will be the marching orders of the month. However sustain the half implemented fix for the flavor of last month while you work on the new flavor of the month with no support.
 
Prepare to take direction and orders from many higher ups from all facets of the business that have no idea what’s going on, similar to the blind leading the blind. All of them at any given time will give different marching orders in different directions. Then when the new flavor of the month comes out prepare for everyone to bark orders then disappear off when it comes time to implement. Keep a compass in your pocket as you will be spun in so many different directions. The many layers of brass and road blocks are the key ingredients to this micro managed culture which is evident the moment you set foot in the facility.

No work life balance whatsoever, be prepared to work 10 hour days and weekends consistently.This place is the definition of insanity, worst culture ever.

Working in Kitchen Craft Cabinetry is skilled. The benefits are great. Their always priority the safety first. They have associate meetings to let the employees what’s happening on the company

Stressful part is if you don’t meet your expectations. But they’re not gonna pursing you. Cause you know your tasks

You have a freedom to work there. All employees are friendly. Also the supervisors too

We always check everything first before we start working

What is the best part of working at the company?
the plant is closed to nearby houses if you are in north or east side of winnipeg. it takes 10 to 12 minutes drive.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
yes. it is stressful in most department like assembly A, B, store, EPA.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment has too much noise, dusty and lots of intrigues. It is whom you know not what you know.  Favoritism among supervisors and workers. Wash room too untidy.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
just work on your own. some have lots of work some escapes from working.

The company's CEO was very approachable. Anyone can address their concerns directly. A typical day of work was quiet inside the office but the machines running in concert (Holzma Cutters and Drills, Tape machines, etc) were a boring symphony.  Other than that staff supports each other. 
Love the perfect attendance award. It's tough because it means that you did not have any late punch even for a minute. But you get rewarded at the end of the year. Weekly perfect attendance you'd get a chocolate bar and a thank you note from the CEO himself, I think. That's what I remember.

It is a job, not a career business.  You are hired to say yes, and do what they want and that changes every day.  The main goal is to sell more cabinets regardless of if the computer systems work, or if the product comes in one piece.  
Your contacts in other departments change regularly, and it is hard to know who to reach for assistance and for service.

The people are good, as they usually are, but some are so inundated, that they get frustrated and caught up in the smallest of things.  It is a regular battle at this company.

At first working here was good, only to realize it was all fake smiles and fake relationships.
I gave a two week’s notice and got posted from my regularly job to a different job with a different location. After the resignation i got silent treatment and got posted to another department to work the remaining days.

Very unprofessional people and a very toxic place to work. I would never recommend this to anybody. 

They have this method of rating tradesman level A or B for an industrial electrician or level A or B construction electrician. So even if you're a licensed new hire industrial electrician you get labeled as a level B construction electrician with a pay rate of 31.00. The work is terrible if you're lucky you'll get to troubleshoot. There is no organization in the maintenance dept. No PLC work. Work through breaks. You have non skilled management telling you how to troubleshoot.

We always started the day with a warm-up exercise so we wouldn't sprain our muscles while lifting kitchen parts throughout the day. Then we would go straight to our respective department and go on with our day. The difficulty of the job depends on which department you were assigned. Some are more difficult than the other (which pays more, of course). But overall, the job isn't that bad. It can be hard at times but you'll get used to it eventually. People are nice and friendly as well.

In my case after the death of my sister i was asking my supervisor if i can ask for some help from them since tjat time i was having domestic problems myself and i was taken for granted. Then my car was repossessed by the bank and i talk to my supervisor that i needed help personally. Buf instead of getting help i got dismissal from my job.

The work space has certain ethics that need to be respected and carried out throughout the plant and that is why i respect that working environment, due to the lack of staff on my shift we all take a huge part of work to help other members stay on target as well.
