There are certain advantages and disadvantages working with Krahn.
Pros: Really fancy coffee machine, nice view if you are lucky to get a window desk, high turnover you can always find temporary employment any time.
Cons: 
Expect to be overworked and ripped apart. Although overtime is not desirable if required you are expected to work weekends or until very late at night. This may happen quite often as they are understaffed. Working hours are between 8am-5pm with one hour break where most of the times you won't be able to take.
Poor management and work culture, not very good work life balance, tight deadlines to meet.
In return your salary will probably be at the low 50's, 2-3 weeks of vacation.(1 week is mandatory to get end of year, so you will be left with the remaining 1-2 week). Benefits are the very basic, advancement there is not any at least in the Mech. Engineering dept. There is also a salary increase upon an exceptional annual performance review which will not cover more than half of the annual parking stall costs downtown.
It worth mentioning that this review reflects my personal experience within the mechanical engineering department of the company which was not very good. Management in other disciplines and working conditions would probably vary and be much better.

Lastly, I would not expect to see a 4 star review from a person that left the company in such a short period of time.

Lots of good people work here. The work and deadlines are challenging but management/hr are always trying to improve. However leadership is contradictory, often absent and secretive. There doesn't seem to be a plan or strategy for the group. Team principals try to set goals but they don't seem to be supported by senior leadership. 

Lots of cooperative work. Management has made an effort to provide opportunities to work and socialize together to make the workplace a better place to spend 1/3 of your life.

A great place to start out your career. Tons of jobs relating to industrial, commercial, and multi-family residential developments. There are some friendly, energetic, and passionate people in the structural department who really care about the job that they do.

I like This Company.
If I have a place at Vancouver office (instead of Abbotsford), I would be happy to keep on working here. Good place to get knowledge and to give your potentials.

Very friendly environment to work. Got valuable experience from this company. Very cooperative people to work with. Always provide equal opportunities to all employees grow. 

Krahn like any company has its issues but I feel the managers and staff work very hard to make a great environment. It was a pleasure to be part of that team.

I learned how to be my own boss as there was nobody supervising me. If there was something that had to be fixed it was usually up to me to figure out how to do it.
