this job was okay at the start, but then reality set in. 

• nothing in the stores are priced properly to match the register. So associates have to run around to find prices. 

• store makes no money because the clothing is cheap and the company is unheard of.

• District Manager is absolutely rude, zero intrapersonal skills, and enjoys bullying staff. I imagine she brings her personal problems to work with her, but I don't know, she has issues.

• small staff to run a big store. Shift hours are typically 3-5 hours long, and you'll be expected to do management duties and stock 24/7. Expect to be yelled at because they don't train you properly, yet expect you to work like a factory machine.

• customers are nicer than the district manager. 

• Designer Depot, Fairweather, International Clothiers and LABELS all sell the same cheap stuff, just under different names.

• staff are overworked and underpaid. (see having to do management responsibilities without training or knowledge)

• Sundays usually consist of receiving IST (transfers of messy clothes from other stores in the company to be sold at your store) and of course they send it after the mall closes, and they expect it to be done by tomorrow morning. Mall security will eventually ask you to leave, because that's silly.


Eventually ended up quitting the job because the DM was awfully disrespectful. She cursed me out for forgetting to do something miniscule in front of customers. That day we were also short staffed and I wasn't trained to do anything she demanded. 

Just ridiculous, worst job experience of my life.

A good opportunity to learn how to handle customers and use job knowledge to accurately help with customer needs. I learned a wide variety of entry level skills such as customer service, cash management and retail sales. There is really no hard part of the job except maybe standing for long periods of time and possibly lifting heavy boxes of stock. All in all, a great place to work with friendly and well trained management albeit a little laid back.

I enjoy my co-workers a lot, as well as my job, unfortunatly my schedule always varys which makes for a harder lifetyle. I do not get to work as uch as I want and my pay is not that great. I love my job and people I work with, but I have to work somwhere more addiquite with my lifestyle. I have learned lot in my job, such as transfers, nd bringing in new stock.

Only 1 employee in a really big store. You are expected to receive deliveries, serve customers, watch for LP, make schedules, hire, train, all on your own. 
Due to the low prices and area, you encounter some dangerous seeming customers and you work alone most of the time. Sometimes the mall doesn’t have security so you only have the police to call. 

A good day at work is getting to interact with customers, and help them with their needs.
I learned a lot about responsibility and i feel it made me a better worker.
Management is friendly and always there to help when I'm in need.
I think it is always good to have a relationship with your co-workers and be a friend.

labeling and stocking product, learned what labeling was about with this company, management was good and they were fair about issues,( this was a union job) they were from different back grounds and were good to work with, the hours as they work around the clock,working with positive people that were energetic and gave incentives for a job well done.

over all it was fun to work there. I have learned lot of valuable attributes to the retails industry .supervisors were very helpful. I began working there as a stock boy . I got promoted as sale person. then assistant Manager. and Manager. few times they have asked me to be a supervisor also.

I learned new skills everyday, enjoyed my time with a great staff. I did scheduling, training, shiping and receiving. I have superb customer servies skills as I delt with people of all ages and kinds in thier fashion...I enjoyed helping people look their best. Best part of everyday was knowing I've helped someone.

In my workplace i had a good time. it was really nice working there. 
I liked working there but the only problem was the schedule they wont give me the days that i wanted to work and i couldn't called in sick as well no matter what it was i had to go to my shift.

Honestly just not a fun place to work. If your coworkers are nice then it might be worth it. Otherwise, it would be best to just get some experience and leave.
