This company, at least at the wallaceburg location was completely awful to work for. Nothing that made the production worker's jobs easier was every fixed. I even offered to buy materials to repair a lift assist device which obviously wasn't accepted. I felt incredibly downtrodden almost every day I went into work and when my financial situation began deteriorating because of the lack of work I was being given it felt even more so, especially when there was simply a meeting one day and we were all canned because the company was in as I understood it at the time 54 million dollars of debt. I'm not gonna pretend I was an amazing employee for this company I was very far from it, but this company didn't deserve amazing employees.

I will give them credit as their workforce is multicultural and for the most part they will hire anyone and don't lean towards ethnic group which is good.
Advice: If your a student or newcomer looking to build your resume this is the place.
Best way I describe this place is people 'NEED" to work their versus "WANT".
I'm not going to say anything overly bad as it just was not the job for me, as I have a few trades under my belt, but packing pickles just wasn't working for me, good for some short term money.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There isn't any thing good about that place at all and went bankrupt 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They hire more Indians from temp agency and guaranteed them 40 hrs and screwed the full time white employees  out of hours every week

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They went bankrupt and locked the doors on there employees 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Never got many hours and sometimes  only a day a week

Company and management does not care for employees safety or well being. Often putting employees in danger in order to produce numbers. not organized what so ever and none of the management knows or pays attention to how the floor or processes work. No support from management besides "I don't care this is what we need" . Absolutely no training. No procedures. No standard of running things. machines are falling apart. No safety procedures followed until people get hurt. 

If you are super desperate for cash , this might be a place you go to save up for whatever it is you need , however long term , not a fun place to be.  Completely mismanaged to the point where even the management was quitting 😳 if you are at that company for the long haul , then you are one of four things ( maintenance, forklift , supervisor,  or have no other choice then to stay somewhere on the production line ( the worst )  

I enjoyed my colleagues and we always had a good laugh during work. Supervisor was stressful and in my case I was passed over for promotion and the company chose to hire new employees. The funny thing is that both employees didn't last a month and when I enquired about the posts availability I was told the offer had been with drawn. A year later I'm working for another employer and I have the title and pay I was denied at whytes.
