Lack of Transparency in HR policy: no orientation or resource to find employee benefits, leave policy, etc. Irresponsive HR and disregard for employees. Such culture perpetuates within the company.

Repetitive tasks with Unreasonably High KPIs: 240 alarms daily. Lack of enough staff with increasing workload, i.e. doing tasks of other teams to assist with their unmet targets.

Irresponsible Management: managers are usually not available whenever there is complaint. Very few managers are helpful, most of them just ignore your needs and prospects, making false promises to accomplish their goals.

Unreliable IT System: delays in responding to emergency alarms occurs once a while due to IT issues. Users are at risks of getting the prompt assistance due to prolonged delays.


The company is cheap, when looking to advance any employee they choose the candidate they can pay less instead of going on tenure or workplace experience. 
Management is a joke, claiming to want employee feedback to "improve" but nothing ever changes. They will find any reason possible to not pay bonuses or adequate cost of living wage increases.
Avoid this place if you can. 

Lots of incoming alarms sometimes, managers were super nice and check on you often, helping vulnerable people gives you a purpose and there's a human connection that makes you feel like you're actually making a difference. The subscribers' families can be tough to deal with 

The job was okay. It give so you a sense of pride as you genuinely feel that you impact positively the subscribers lives when you do your job well, but when complaints come, it can be a bit overwhelming as managers are rarely available to help you.

the pay could be a little higher but it was duable for living. team members were great and super helpful. they wanna see you succeed. Can deal with pretty stressful situation at times, need to be strong emotionally. 

working at Lifeline was a great opportunity, management was good. always short staffed which often leads to a high volume of calls.
Not to forget, the pay is not great

Workload is fine, not too stress (as an emergency services responder), just pay too low. Nice co-workers, not too micromanage. It is nice if you can get one of the weekend with day off.

Alarm taking are all the same. Due to Covid, all fun was lost. Work from home permanent. You do feel a sense of being able to help subscribers but the work can become repetitive.
