MAC FINANCIAL RECOVERY

I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience for anyone considering working here.

Before accepting the role, I did some research and noticed a few older reviews that mentioned concerns about communication and workplace culture. I assumed things may have improved over time, but unfortunately some of those issues were similar to what I experienced.

From the outside, the company appears organized and professional. However, my experience as a new employee felt quite different. While people were polite, the environment didn’t feel particularly welcoming or supportive when it came to onboarding and integrating into the team.

One challenge was the lack of clear communication around expectations. It was often unclear what the standards were, and there wasn’t much feedback or discussion about performance or development. Despite completing my tasks and receiving some positive verbal comments, there wasn’t much guidance or conversation about improvement or long-term growth.

I also found the environment somewhat rigid when it came to small requests that would help with productivity. Overall, it sometimes felt difficult to ask questions or have open conversations about workflow or improvements.

On the positive side, the work itself was manageable and the role was fairly straightforward. However, the lack of communication and support made it hard to feel confident about long-term stability.

My advice to potential employees would be to ask detailed questions about training, expectations, and communication style before accepting a position.

This was simply my personal experience, but I hope it helps others make an informed decision.

A typical day is fast-paced and structured. You start by reviewing your call list and account notes, then spend most of your time on the phone — either reaching out to clients with overdue balances or responding to inbound calls and emails and making outbound calls.
Some of the things you learn are to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and negotiate effectively. You also learn how to manage your time and how to stay organized in a target-driven environment. Management sets clear expectations and holds the team accountable and support you when situations get tough and provide useful feedback and keep the team motivated, especially during high-volume times. Coworkers are friendly, and always helpful with new hires. Added bonus is everyone has great comradery in the office.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It's such an amazing place to work. The team is awesome and super supportive, and the work environment is easily one of the best I’ve been in. Everyone’s welcoming, helpful, and it makes coming in every day enjoyable.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is no stress at all. The support is always there, and the team makes everything feel smooth and stress-free.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is amazing, super positive, supportive, and team-oriented. Everyone helps each other out, and the culture feels welcoming and fun while still staying professional.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day is busy but smooth. Everyone works well together, so the day goes by fast and it’s actually enjoyable.

Where to begin. Very unprofessional and aggressive owner, thinks he's a gangster. It's embarrassing to watch. Pattern of manipulating employees to work more hours exploiting them, then firing them for no reason. The numerous managers are truly a joke, they are the most unprofessional, uneducated, junkies you will ever have tell you what to do. Working here is like doing jail time. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemies. The work is boring. They will lie to you, tell you you'll make lots of money, but they pay slightly above minimum wage, and you'll NEVER make commission before they fire you. 
Save yourself the anxiety medication and many sleepless nights, and look for work literally anywhere else. You will NOT be treated good here. You will NOT make lots of money.

Severely and seriously horrible place to work. Mac Financial Recovery is truly a corrupt joke of a company. The company is evil to the highest degree and the work is extremely unpleasant. Very high turnover. Revolving door policy of constant fringing and hiring. You will be treated like a dog here. The disgusting owners are bullies and are so suspicious of everyone, they'll fire people for making eye contact. Also doesn't help that the owners are legitimate crooks, and yell at everyone all the time. They tell you you'll make lots of commission; that's a lie. They'll tell you the hours your supposed to work; also a lie, if your not putting in an extra unpaid hours every week you'll be fired. If you ever mention your rights or share your opinion; fired.This is the worst job you'll ever have. Period.

MAC Financial Recovery, is great place to work. The people, the owners, the hands on learning, the pay, the environment, all of it. Ive learned many valuable skills working here, met amazing people from all walks of life, that truly made my experience a great one. This job showed me that I CAN do, what I thought I couldn't previously couldn't do, on a personal level. It’s a job I was excited to go to, and that speaks for itself, and honestly didn't feel much like a job at all. It felt like a second home. I highly recommend this place to anyone with a desire to learn and grow, within a field that can change their life, and their perspective of  a “Job”. 

Working as an administrative assistant at MAC Financial Recovery was a fantastic opportunity to kick-start my career. From day one, the team was incredibly supportive and invested in my professional development. Over the years, they provided me with the tools, mentorship, and encouragement to grow and advance in my role. The work environment was positive and collaborative, making it a great place to learn. I’m truly grateful for the experience and highly recommend MAC Financial Recovery to anyone looking to build a strong foundation in their career.

Since starting at MAC FINANCIAL RECOVERY, I have always been respected and treated fairly. There is mutual respect and open communication that allows us to feel valued and motivated. They have given me the chance to learn many new skills I did not have coming in. They work hours are honest and they value the importance of family. My work colleagues have become close friends and even a part of my extended family. I truly appreciate all they have done for me and I would highly recommend anyone to apply.

This is a depressing and offensive place to work. If you are not constantly grinding, or have a bad month, you're out. I seriously don't think anyone here ever makes good commission. The president regularly comes around and makes a spectacle of himself and the employees. I've worked at several companies over the years and have never witnessed an employer have so little value and respect for the employees. This was, by far, the worst work experience of my life.

This was one of the best jobs I’ve ever had. All of the bosses and supervisors made it really easy to make money, and were super supportive. I think the work was fairly simple for the compensation, and there was no limit on how much you could make. Everyone made the day go by faster because there was a high level of camaraderie. Don’t get me wrong, it takes dedication and hard work, but in my opinion it is worth it, and the harder you work the more money you make which is a fair trade off.
