MANDARIN

I always enjoyed working for the Mandarin. The staff there are extremely enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the food and history of the franchise. Something I really miss about working there was getting to make all the fancy beverages and wearing all the different uniforms for every time of the year. The management there are easy to get along with and have worked very hard to ensure confidence and productiveness amongst the employees. I believe one of the hardest things about bartending there would be having to refill those pop machines so many times per shift (they are really heavy). Although that was difficult at times, there was always another staff member there who would be happy to lend a hand if needed. It has been a while since I have worked there, but I imagine it hasn't changed a bit, the staff at the Mandarin have been and will continue to be friendly and present visitors with an overall enjoyable and unforgettable experience.

It is a very good place to work as a part-time and full-time. A typical workday will be always busy and sometimes can be stressful since its a buffet restaurant, you might it hard to communicate to some coworkers specially if you are new. It will help you develop your multitasking ability, cooperation and communication while working under pressure. Management is okay, they are very are understanding and easy to talk to. The culture is great since the employees are widely diverse and you get to learn a lot of things about different cultures. The hardest part of the job is the stress from working busy long hours while being understaffed, you will be standing for the majority of your shift. The most enjoyable part of the job is that you get to interact with different people all the time.

A typical day would consist of answering the phone and taking many reservations and food orders. I learned how to be patient, work as a team and how to communicate. The management could use some work.The original managers when the restaurant open are pretty good. There are a couple new managers that have questionable morals and thought processes. My coworkers were all great for the most part. There are so you have to watch out for.
The hardest part is when it gets extremely busy and when customers are rude.
The most enjoyable part would be talking to really great people.

It's a fast paced work environment. You move around alot and lift heavy buckets of ice every morning depending if you're scheduled for morning shifts which are like 10 in the morning. While management is a hit or a miss, honestly. Some will hate their managers but still live with it and work through it. Then, there are some that get along with them.

I enjoy working at Mandarin as a server, I have developed many skills since the first day I started such as up selling and promoting items sold at Mandarin, I improved on my customer service skills and enhanced my knowledge in the restaurant industry.

Mandarin is a stage for a fresh girl who was working for part time during college to a experienced woman who have abundant knowledge to deal with customers. Let them feel they’re welcome and like to serve them from the bottom of mind. The working procedure is easy to get used to and follow to success.

Friendly employees, learned some Mandarin, Managers overall sometimes unorganized but overall good people, hardest part of the job was to be safe and quick, most enjoyable was just the experience.

Being on the road is fun. Going the extra mile to get things done.. Multi tasking was the key to this job and also being ready to take on anything amount of food to be delivered in a designated time.

this was a stressful job, since hundreds of customers would come in everyday. the easy part was being a receptionist. the hardest was having to stand for long hours and not being able to walk around.

It's a good place to work because it's busy .people are helping and positive attitude.its difficult to have more hour to work .its gd for students and for part time job but full time not suitable.
