Lots of time you do the same survey for a very long time sometimes weeks at a time, the computers tend to crash a lot, the phones don't always work well and a lot of the time the volume is very low and you can't turn it up. When you complain about it they either tell you to suck it up or will try to change your phone but it doesn't make it better most of the time. When there is a lot of people working, it gets very loud which makes it really hard to understand the people over the phone and the clients on the phone sometime will complain because of the noise. People tend to be rude over the phone because we call them while they are eating or sleeping because we work during that time (4-9 pm). They tell you it's 40h a week but it's only 25h and sometimes even less. You can't do more than 25h. Management is pretty fine but do not really care about you. Everyone that works there is pretty friendly.

This job needs to be sited down in front of a computer and read the text on the screen while recording the respondents' answer.
I have learned how to deal with people and how to convince them to answer the telephone survey. Nevertheless, the most important thing I have learned is to control my emotion when facing someone howls at me. Besides all these aspects, I remembered all the co-workers were agreeable as we all chitchat together during lunch time.

The hardest part of the job was to convince people answering the survey to meet the target set by our supervisor. Still, the most enjoyable part of the job was to successfully complete a survey, especially for those survey that took more than one hour.

I am very proud of myself because I work at MBA Research because everyday I learn something new with every project I recrute 
All the subject are vey interested and the people that I recrut are very happy when I call them and invited them for focus group

The work is often boring but the environment is decent. Salary is low but if you're dependable they're quite flexible about your schedule. A lot that could be better, but to me it beats many similar jobs. Management is decent in my experience.

MBA Recherche was an agreeable work environment. I learned a lot about market research and consumer focus groups. The hardest part was dealing with all the tasks: ideally, to work at MBA Recherche, one would need to have the ability to duplicate oneself.
