Inspected trucks and loaded up equipment upon arriving at the yard. From there, went to work sites (residential and commercial). Upon finishing the day, pack up, unload compost and garbage, clean machines, tag out any malfunctioning equipment if there was any and clock out. I learned how to operate weed trimmers and backpack blowers as well as how to work as a team and do things efficiently. Lots of culture. Hardest part of the job was waking up early to freeze while doing snow removal. Most enjoyable part was being able to work outside with people who enjoy their jobs as well.

The work enviroment is good and supportive but lacks key communication in some areas

depending on the day and season, nothing but labour

I worked the summer season of 2018 on lawn maintenance. Take initiative to figure it out because the biggest downside of seasonal work is that lead hands/ trainers arent 'trained to train' so you may receive very poor instruction. If you have half a brain and a good work ethic you will be trusted quickly. Good core group of employees and long days are made pretty fun by a good crew.

I worked for one week for this company & after a week they decided I was not right for the job. I felt that one week doesn't give you an indication of how one can work for you. I felt they were using personal interests & likes to decide the fate of a worker. I do not feel they were professional enough.

Lawn maintenance at MDL landscaping was fast paced and hard work. Mowing and trimming lawns throughout the summer and was offered winter work shovelling snow at a better wage. It made for a good summer job and paid appropriately based on my skill and experience.

There's nothing bad to say about MDL, they gave me the experience I need to further myself in the future related to construction and operating. The people there are all optimistic and loved to teach new guys a thing or two, great management and strong work ethics. 

Poured my heart and soul into this company. All my senior coworkers encouraged me to leave when I got a better job opportunity. Best decision ever made. This is a seasonal job not a career 

After a week i didnt have a ride or car so i had to stop .but i didnt want to quit but i was young. But now im more grown and i got 2 boys and a good gijrl so if im good than thanks

the laborers are good to work with but the management does not have a grasp on leading a team. if low pay for excessive work is what you are looking for you will be a good fit

Best place to work when the weather is not terrible. Workers aren’t dickheads. There are several things I can learn out in the field.There are some customers that are rude to you.
