Daily work is expected to start and end at specific times, breaks at specific times.
As long as you come in, do your job properly, you're fine.
Management could be amazing or terrible pending on who you report to.
Workplace culture can be positive or negative, pending on who you work beside.
Hardest part of the job is not being paid your worth as opposed to other Provinces.
Most enjoyable part of the job is knowing you've accomplished what you're required to and best of all...going home.

Arrive to work early each day & get organized for the day. Communicate with co-workers before the day begins.
I learned how to assemble , process and document charts.
It was great working with my co-workers who were very knowledgeable and were there if I had a question
The hardest part of the job was leaving the term position.
The most enjoyable part of the job was my co-workers and clients coming into the office.

Not a safe place to work and on some shifts working alone and long hours some OT hours unpaid in order to complete a unrealistic work load for one person. Not enough staff to cover longterm employee vacation and sicktime, so many weeks covering working 6 out of 7 days a week.  Exposure to some dangerous chemicals when washers fail and other methods are used. Not the best PPE.

Worked for the Covid-19 line at the Provincial Health Contact Centre/Health Links-Info Sante. Coworkers were good, supervisors were good although we had to run every minor detail through them while on a call with clients, causing us to put them on hold often to wait for a supervisor to be free. Overall, they were looking for a high volume of people to take calls but didn’t care to train us to work independently. To be expected for a semi-permanent position.

As a volunteer worker before, I get a lot of learning experiences in good way. It makes me gained the culture and the people around you in this company are highly cooperative, respectable and are really like a family.

Anywhere in Health Care is very busy and stressful during the pandemic, but i have found the Management very supportive. I feel my work is appreciated. 

Its a small facility, and it feels like family working at the Mis. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I loved everything about my job, from helping patients, working with my coworker.s and the job itself

great. spent most of my time chatting with the residents. the staff is very welcoming and I would definitely recommend people to volunteer here especially working with the residents

I enjoy working at Misericordia Health Centre.Administrative staffs and other staffs are friendly and approachable.A culturally diversified working environment.

Good organization to work for. Work environment changes not well implemented, more education needed prior to changes. Overall good team to work with!
