i enjoyed working here as one of the head cooks..you are going to run a crew of 1-10 people (volunteers, people doing fines/penalties and also people in halfway houses) depending on the day. You can appreciate the small things and get to know the clients and gain their respect and confidence.  That being said, "les cadres", your kitchen managers are not to be trusted. Feel like you are walking on eggshells around them. I saw five people fired in a year and six months, and finally, me too!

In this position I was responsible for multiple repairs as well as the general maintenance of 3 buildings. My duties included electrical repair as well as plumbing, gyproc and carpentry. I also was responsible for the repair and upkeep of the power tools as well as the gasoline powered weed trimmers. This was contract work only. No benefits.

Serving the community with love, respect and support we're all that I learned there. The management is so good. The most enjoyable part of this job was serving the community. It wasn't a hard job.

Very hard clients, and the strees is high level for the people how work in costumer services. It¨s far from metro station and if you are going by car sometimes is very difficult to find parking spaces.

Management is a disaster and not supportive, if anything happens to you it’s your fault. Very poor protection for workers and no advantages at all. Way underpaid for the work you have to do. 

Great job if you love helping people. You have the opportunity to directly influence other people's lives. However salary is on the lower end of the spectrum.
