Working at MLSE has been a rewarding experience. The team culture is professional yet supportive, and there’s a strong sense of pride in being part of such a well-known organization. I worked in event security/customer service, and it gave me the chance to engage with diverse crowds, handle fast-paced situations, and contribute to game-day operations at iconic venues like Scotiabank Arena and .

Management was organized, shifts were well-coordinated, and the experience helped build both communication and conflict resolution skills. The only downside is that roles can be seasonal or part-time, depending on the department, but overall, it’s a great place to grow professionally — especially if you’re looking to build experience in high-volume, high-standard environments.

Everyone is always in a good mood 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Short notice schedule, seniority puts you low on getting shift so first year don’t except Scotiabank much. The schedule system isn’t user friendly.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
So many people, so many jobs , a lot of new people to always meet .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The shifts are short and sweet

What is the best part of working at the company?
Interacting with fans and of course being right where the action is!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Trying to appease fans who have tickets not valid and also those who become belligerent.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Culture is great and supervisory staff in EVP makes job more enjoyable.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Punch in , greet fans and enjoy the event.

My time so far at the Scotiabank arena has been short however I got a good feel for everything and everyone there. Management is really professional and they constantly ensure you understand the task at hand in order for you to complete a job. They treat each and every fan like it's their first time at the arena and I think that's what sets them apart from everyone else.

The job is a really fun one! You get to see games and concerts while working, and the energy is always very high in the building. The only downside would be that during the basketball and hockey off-season, there aren't many shifts other than concerts every so often.

I love working here but the pay, gratuity and tip system is not fair. The servers do the least amount of work but they get to keep ALL the tips. The runners do most of the work but they only keep a little bit of gratuity. It is misleading to the fans who think the tips go to the whole team.

the bosses and employees are super nice, the training was pretty fun when i applied, great work setting they help work around a good schedule if needed. understood that problems do come up and can call in last minute. really enjoyed  

It’s great for a side job but not a great choice for a main source of income. Very flexible schedules though! The management team is very friendly and so are the rest of the staff.

A very flexible job that fits well at the end of most days. You get various perks and discounts; a good job for anyone who can stand for a extended amount of time, and likes to help people have fun, while being safe! 

Loved working her! Colleagues were amazing. Scheduling wasn’t so great as it’s based on seniority. So the high your seniority the more shifts and flexibility but the lower seniority meant possibly less shifts and flexibility
