I never had any issues with my coworkers, they are all amazing. No issues with management (personally) except with one assistant manager, she was a real nightmare to work with. Very flexible schedule as a university student which was nice. Pretty high employee turnover which is, honestly, understandable. Salary was not high enough for the amount of work we do and the stuff/people we have to deal with. The store is also weirdly organized which made it hard to put clothes back in their place. Had a coworker that would barely show up to their shift, yet they still kept their job, but others had a stern talking for being late once (by that assistant manager). The employee discount was alright. Our breaks were given at odd times. Also quite a bit of customers who really enjoy making messes that we have to clean up or the poor janitor

My experience working at Mode Choc was great. I absolutely loved the job, as well as the management and my co-workers. The management team always made sure I was happy with my job and always made sure my day was going good; if not, they did everything they could to try and make my day better. The most enjoyable part of the job was building relationships with customers and giving them satisfaction. Some customers were harder to approach but I always let them know I was there to help them and most of the time I figured out a way to approach them with a positive attitude and they left with a smile on their face.

I was very bored at this job. Repetitive work and not challenging enough, when I was there the managers seemed to be in competition with each other and were not very professional. They were very bullying and taking the employees for granted and there was a big turn over of employees. They seemed to take pleasure in firing anyone who had anything good to bring to the table. However, I have heard that all those managers were fired and new ones brought in so hopefully it is better now.

Working here I have hit a low with this company.
I feel like at the tail end I was just being thrown around to whatever section they pleased and would work in 3 different sections a day.
and the position I was most comfortable working in (that I had discussed with management and let them know several times) they stopped scheduling me there completely in favor of another coworker.

they usually do whats reasonable to  accommodate their employees if something happens and they want to maintain a good work life balance and make sure their employees are ok. its rare to see a company care for its employees but i was happily surprised of finding this.

Since I’ve worked there, there’s been constant change from staff to the rules and even the layout and how things work. I love my job for specific reasons, I’m just glad management isn’t the same it used to be.

It's okay, there's just a bit of toxicity. Otherwise the working environment is okay if you stick to your job and do as you're told! The hours are decent and it's easy to occupy yourself.

It was a Fun, and a proactive place to work, But it didn't have the hours i needed, and it was a temporary job, till the original worker got off sick-leave.

a job I kept for many years, management at this point is one of the main reasons I quit. The old management was great, but lots of drama going on within the store.
