The people who have been at the company for a long time like being there but MPC has repeatedly failed to successfully integrate new hires and will always end up placing the blame on the new hire for not being "the right fit". During my interview the atmosphere was described as friendly and welcoming but most of the people I worked with were not welcoming at all towards any of the new hires. Veteran staff and managers were dismissive of my ideas, acted condescending when I asked questions, and provided some of the most ineffective training I have ever seen in my career.

The issues this company has with new hires impact every level. At least 6 of the managers that were hired within the last 3 years are no longer with the company. Considering the cost of hiring someone at that level, that is an abysmal retention rate. Beyond managers, it's rare to see anyone hired in 2020 or later last two years at the company. 

If the majority of people you have hired lately are "not a good fit", what does that say about your hiring and onboarding practices? Perhaps the employees who left aren't the problem. It's easier for management to spread some tightly controlled narrative that everyone who isn't immediately happy and effective at the company is a poor culture fit than it is to look inward. 

If you are the statistical outlier that manages to successfully integrate, and you don't care about being compensated far below market rate, you'll be happy enough.

They promise you the world during your interview process then leave you to your own devices trying to solve issues that are ignored by management. The managers dont have any compasion. they just expect the world from you while doing nothing to make your job easier. doesn't matter how many weekends you work for them, they'll lay you off and keep someone toxic and useless because of "seniority"

for a company that claims to have a great, inclusive culture that values feedback... it sure is odd that the majority of the people they just let go were people who were bringing in new ideas and experiences. this place is a melting pot, conform to the same personality that everyone else there has or you won't last.

I wouldn't recommend working here to my worst enemy because I don't want to give MPC the satisfaction of hiring someone else to overwork then toss away.

MPC went through a huge growth stage since 2020 and hired a few people that just did not fit well. Unfortunately, the company they partnered with to start a new division went bankrupt. It's been challenging, MPC had to downsize a little and stop the new division. It was heartbreaking for everyone. But we are coming back stronger than ever! Lots of new business and growing again! I love working here the people are great and management really cares about everyone. Attendance, punctuality and working hard are very important here. If you like standing around gossiping and calling in as often as you can, this is not the place for you. We all work hard and support each other and that is one of the many reasons this place is amazing!  

The culture is if you disagree with management your fired. They believe they have a great culture but really everyone just tells them what they want to here.
If your let go good luck getting unemployment insurance. They have screwed over many people this way.
Very controlling atmosphere. Camera's on you in all areas. Including sound. Big brother is always watching.
Most days are good.
The management meetings are a gossip club.
They have lots of fun events
Learned people can't be trusted. 
The culture is be quiet and be nice and your golden.

Don't listen to anything they say about their culture. A company with a great culture does not lay people off close to Christmas. A company with a great culture does not have so many different departments working in silos and not communicating. A successful company with a balanced culture does not have a higher percentage of Managers than direct labour.

There are better automotive companies in the area. There are better medical companies in the area. There is no reason you need to work here.

MPC truly does embody its core values: integrity, collaboration, and innovation. I have never worked in an environment that puts so much genuine effort into their culture. I find every department, including management, is very approachable and always willing to lend me a hand. I feel like my opinions and ideas are heard and considered. They are rapidly growing, and I know that there will always be opportunities for movement within the company, as they often look to hire/promote from within. I am very excited to see what the future holds for me at MPC.

MPC continuously seeks to further the experiences of its team members throughout all aspects of the work environment. Each day brings new challenges that allow room for collaboration and learning to take place. It has been a pleasure getting to see how this company truly stands by its core values that honour diversity and inclusion in the workplace. I have never worked for a company before that has been able to adapt to change so quickly and smoothly. MPC is an impressive company to work for.


Perhaps the culture used to be what they sell you in the interview process, but it is absolutely not what you experience once you are there.  Management is a disorganized mess. The judgement of the Owners is questionable and you either conform or you are bullied.  New employees who want to better the company by bringing new ideas and structure are belittled.  I had such high hopes for a long career at MPC, but I am now looking for other employment.  I truly hope the Owners find the way back to what MPC used to be.

Managers were not he most stressful part of the job.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Coworkers were great.  Culture was ok.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Constantly being pushed for output pay and job requirements are not in par with each other. They need to pay between 21/22 dollars and per hour

Overworked, underpaid, no advancement opportunities. Poor management with a my way or the highway approach. You're hired for one specific job however soon you will have two roles you must be able to fill while only paying you for one job with no incentives for all the extra work you must preform.  Free overtime is expected by the company to complete your tasks and if you can't keep up then your out the door. Steer clear of MPC, life is better spent elsewhere. Cheers.
