MTO is a great place for young people to learn trade skills. The loyal employees with experience are patient teachers and there's a sense of comradery amongst the staff.
The company has the ability to customize their work to meet client expectations.  The shops machinery manual and otherwise is capable of creating a multitude of metal products . Great pride is taken in doing the work well and the MTO team is more then willing to make adjustments as needed. 
MTO has also adjusted to CO-VID protocols and even taken safety measures a couple of steps further to ensure employee and client health and well being.  The dedicated employees at the facility fabricated there own safety measures in an ingenious manner making some precautions portable. 
If a person is looking for a place that will hire them on a permanent full time basis with benefits and a straight shift MTO might be a good option for them. 
Plus there's opportunity to learn new jobs and grow your own opportunities there.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Owner was a great guy and cared. The rest of management made poor decisions and are now for the most part behind in every department. Good place to learn if you are young. If you have a family or want to have a sustainable life with one income the checks not gonna go far. How much product you put out never reflects good work in the eyes of the office. They could care less if you go above and beyond..... its expected. Good luck with a raise, guys been there over 10 years only making 17 bucks.

getting work order plus parts and assemble it using blueprints. i learned how to better my welds with different thickness and better procedures for the next person to do the job. management is good to personal needs but not for exceptation of the job u do. workplace is a friendly and caring atmosphere but i have no hard part of my job because i repair or fix if i screwed up a measurement and thats what i love able my job there its flexiblity to make a better difference it the company

Part of the process development team, programmed 7 different cnc machines, helped operators and management with newer software (mastercam 2018) regarding programming and modeling. Set-up and operate cnc for new jobs and new fixture designs as well as troubleshoot any issues regarding programming and operating. Researched new practices/tooling for manufacturing improvements, as well as software.

The people I worked with were great and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. The management has no control and the business is poorly run. Wages are extremely low for the type of work and there are often promises made by management that are never fulfilled. This is a stepping stone job to gain experience and to move on.

Friendly employees and managers. They were always able to address concerns however, the owners are very budget conscious. Salary / benefits are as minimal as possible. The shop is dark and dirty and at the time of my employment was struggling to keep organized and safe.

This is where i was taken off the streets and learned how to run as brake press, all thought this almost took a year and a half before i realized the formulas behind this trade. i learned a lot through this job and have performed a variety off tasks.

As a cnc brakepress operator I was responsible for completing daily checklists and logs before operator machinery. I was also responsible for the set-ups of the press to conform with each job order.

I had learned enough to gain the experience to move around the shop and work at a relaxing pace. This is where I learned a lot on the brake press and hand bender.
