Property management is a fast-paced, relentless business. The people that work here thrive on making things happen and working through unexpected challenges with clients and tenants. Magnum York provides great systems and processes, which are always in a state of improvement due to changes in Alberta legislation as well as technology that's available. The company supports its employees on the front line ... "We got your back" is a common saying here. The offices try to have a relaxed atmosphere and a collaborative environment. I am constantly learning. The most enjoyable part of Magnum York is the variety of clients, properties, tenants, issues, buildings and vendor relationships.

Completing my Accounting Assistant practicum Magnum York Property Management was an excellent learning opportunity for me. I loved the fast paced atmosphere and my mentors were kind and helpful in teaching me. I certainly enjoyed my time at Magnum York Property Management as a Property Management Accountant and a Receptionist.

I enjoyed the challenge of the tight deadlines. I had to pay attention to detail and accuracy was a definite must. I had amazing teacher's that had magnificent patience for me to learn in a positive environment while doing my practicum.

I certainly don't want to say anything against the property management individuals. Especially when they blame you for problems that they created. The unprofessionalism in regards to a specific couple of property managers, plus the owner out of Edmonton main office was highly disappointing.

The job was part-time as it was only 60 units to take care of.
The job was flexible as you could work at your own place.
Limited work hours weekly, and there was no room for advancement as this was the only position available at the time in fort mcmurray

Because I have to say something apparently,
There are some hidden gems within this company, more-so found in your coworkers. Running as a company, they are growing however internally they struggle and employees are not treated very well.

Magnum York has been a great place to work and grow as a Professional. 
The management team is approachable and always working to make us better. The environment is supportive and collaborative.

I love working at Magnum York! The owners are really invested and it causes a great work environment! I'm excited to go to work each morning and wouldn't change a thing!

I love working at Magnum York Property Management . Staff is really friendly and supportive.There are great opportunities to grow within the organization.

Great place to work.  Management respects your home life and well being.  Workplace is positive and has some great people working there. Room for advancement.
