Looking back, I can confidently say that my experience at Maple Leaf Foods has been rewarding and has allowed me to develop a wide range of skills. The challenges I encountered along the way have contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth. In conclusion, my five-year tenure at Maple Leaf Foods has been a mix of learning, challenges, and accomplishments. What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing. They treat their employees very badly. They lied to us all the time. They forgot to pay us our vacation pay then fired me for being sick. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It was 4 below zero degrees in there at all times and all they gave us was a thin jacket and gloves that were useless. When we asked for different ones,  they said no. I literally got frostbite on my hands and they fired me because I had difficulty working. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Terrible.  Ot only were the conditions awful, the people who work there were not friendly at all. This made for a difficult work environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Miserable. During a 12 hour shift we only got three breaks.

Look, unless you are ABSOLUTELY desperate for a job, don't work here. 20 dollars an hour sounds great, then you realize the amount of stupidity you're gonna be going through ain't worth it. If you do take this job, be prepared to be having a lot of conversations with your union rep about pretty much everything, as maple leaf tends to try and get away with as much as they can here. P.s. consumers beware what might actually be in your food :) not exactly the cleanest establishment

Awful company to work for hard labour cripple you n make u deaf.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working to close to people n it's freezing in plant

Just awful waste of time find  work elsewhere believe me you will hate it first day

I dreaded going to work there everyday

Maple leaf company is good , 
Pay is good, health benefits is best  .

No any stress  on my work . Company is good  .

Yes , is environment is good  . T

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I like all days work there . And when my day off .

No, senior managers don't follow the company values and just hire plant managers who have no experience and then expect someone who has experience and applied for the plant manager to train the person and neither have the nerve to tell you why they are terminating you.

If you really hate yourself then apply. Other than that scroll on past you will treated like garbage and asked to do more. The management will lie to to you to get what they want. If you have any respect for yourself you will not work here. 

Generally a good place to work, worked there 2.5 years. Coworkers were kind. Multicultural workforce.  Fairly steady work with some overtime opportunities during busy times.

No experience was needed back then. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It's cold especially in the packaging areas.

Good team, friendly people,  but very nervous  job, no organizations,  no respect  to floor  people  and maintenance.  Maintenance is on on position  of waiters.
