You'll be expected to do the work of 5 people with little to no help, bare minimum pay and no benefits. You will be constantly overwhelmed, stressed and heartbroken. You will be expected to work overtime and long hours with little to no warning and if you don't that puts a target on your back. Being understaffed is a huge issue because no one wants to work there and for good reason. Management is petty and incompetent, expect school yard politics.

Everyone gossips about coming workers very toxic

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and full of neglect since half the time care is not completed for some residents especially mouth care

When I first started I thought it was a good place but over time you see how neglected the residents are going days without showers or having the depends changed on holidays there's no care given to the residents because management does not want to pay time n half ...management is horrible with a don't care attitude....I left weeks ago and still fighting for my vacation pay ...they blocked me out of all apps the use so now I can not get any T4s or paystubs from this company...

Got to get close to a few of the residents.  The setting is like one big family and its great. I would show.up for the afternoon shift go around and say hello to the residents, start cooking and getting the dining room ready for dinner. I loved to serve the residents you always knew they appreciated you for what you do for them on a daily basis. The hardest part is knowing that they are elderly and will pass at some point so you just cherish every minute you can when they are here

A typical day at work was 6am-2pm start by getting clients out of bed, toilet and washed and dressed for breakfast. Make beds take residents to dinning room, assist residents with eating then return residents to rooms. Then again for lunch. Co-workers are helpful when need assistance. Most difficult part of job is keeping right on schedule.The best part of the job was being very busy so time goes quickly.

i enjoy working with people and putting smile on their face I work fast and efficient and work great as a team player and helping my co-workers My job is fast pace everything has to be done at certain time and my follow workers and i all have to work together to have sucessful day and not to run behind that is probably the most challenging but we suceed. What i like most about my jobs is the people that iam doing service for them and going that extra mile

My time spent at Maple Manor was very rewarding! I felt very welcome from the first day! Very dedicated Staff! , with excellent work ethics, and soooo much Compassion! The only reason I had to leave was the split shift that just could not be handled with my current  responsibilities at home.  I would definitely recommend employment at MMNH if you are looking for  a place where you are apprciated.

Very rewarding  job staff very pleasant  to work with .teamwork sometimes it seems the place has list that .management  sucks they don't  have a clue about what staff does .How much stress .over all staff on floor I give 10 for what they deal with.

I found this to be a welcoming place. All the staff is friendly and helpful. The residents are wonderful. It's definitely under staffed and they let the staff get away with not calling in but also not showing up for their shifts. 

I worked in the kitchen .The girls are so nasty .they expect you to do a job in two, hours that would normally take, four hours .They don't even give you a chance to learn everything !
They report, if you make the smallest mistake .
Management, is the worst, and only cares, about the bottom line, and profits, not their ''clients', or their employees
