What is the best part of working at the company?
Working condition is great among workers and trades, training opportunities for workers and most importantly, safety is of utmost priority on all Sites, very high level of professionalism from all worker at all levels

Well, I never really experienced any stressful situation while working at Marcon…

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is respectful ,calm , beautiful not toxic. 

The culture is such that it’s a team that works in synergy, we all are connected to achieve the company’s objectives. The culture encourages and embraces growth in all ramification 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy and interesting, there is always something new to learn and experience, workers are always willing and ready to teach one another..

A typical day at work involves managing the progress and quality of trade workers.I have learned a lot about construction processes and motivating/controlling employees. Management has moved towards focused training and employee advancement.Workplace culture is tough as it is construction but no where near as bad as it was many years ago. The hardest part of the job is managing all the different personality types and keeping them on track,  but also the most challenging and rewarding when breakthroughs in communication are realized. The best parts of the job are learning new things and putting them to use in helping others succeed at their jobs.

We are in construction business and it is tough. But Marcon has acceptable organizational structure and established procedures that helps you accomplish your work successfully.
Marcon's staff are friendly and most of the time supportive.
Like most of other companies you have to ask for promotion and your raise but on average the compensation and benefits are not very below the rest of the market.
Marcon has been in market with a sustainable turnover and is gives you some peace of mind that you are more likely in a safe place when market fluctuates.

My typical day at work goes by very quickly, always keeping busy and learning new skills or information.  The management for Marcon is great at putting together events for the workers.  The safety culture for all Marcon sites is held to a very high standard with support from management.  The hardest part about my job is dealing with bad sub contractors on site.  The best part of my job is providing first aid and making people feel better when they're injured.

Marcon Construction has created a great work environment for myself in the role of my position. I would highly recommend too others who are seeking work in the field. Great team players and a great sense of being apart of something. Great support from upper management, and having the right tools to do the job right.

Upper management provide support and guidance through these current difficult and unprecedented times.  Marcon has displayed industry leadership during the current pandemic and has ensure the cleanliness and safety of my co-workers.  Being a single income family i was grateful to keep working during the pandemic.

Marcon is a good progressive company where you can grow, be challenged, and learn a great variety of construction skills. Marcon will help you gain understanding and knowledge of construction through training, and work shops. You have the latest technology to use with Marcon.

I like the construction industry because it gives me the ability to work outside. Additionally, the industry is full of knowledgeable tradespeople who are usually happy to give insight into their particular craft. The knowledge these trade professionals have is priceless.

Typical work day starts frantically

The hardest part of my job is not being provided with the resources(manpower) to complete the work necessary 


Lots of potential to learn and grow, but a huge disconnect with supervision in achieving these goals.

Construction can be a tough industry to be in. I have worked with a few different companies in the past and Marcon has proved to the best. It is a well structured professional company. They are very client focused and strive to build a high quality product.
