Martin Estate and Injury Law

I am a co-op student at Martin Estate and Injury Law and I am so glad I have gotten the opportunity to work here. 
Everyone is very kind and willing to help you learn. Management is very busy, but they still take the time out of their schedules to help and provide support when needed. They really care about your interests and wish to align your work in tandem with that. You are given every opportunity to expand and advance your legal practice.
It is an independent environment, which is great. You are given lots of responsibility and must ensure you are staying on schedule, which isn't hard to do with the work environment and tools available.
They can absolutely expect my resume after I finish my final year at University.


Martin Estate and Injury Law provides a positive work environment that includes the right balance between independent file management and mentorship, which facilitates career growth and development. The firm employs experienced and hard working paralegals and support staff that enable lawyers to focus on billable tasks. Related to this, the compensation is very competitive, especially for a region of the province where housing and the cost of living are substantially lower than Vancouver. The office environment is collegial, and management values input from employees.

Working for Martin Estate & Injury Law was an absolutely amazing experience. There is a reason why I was with the firm for 4.5 years. The firm is very understanding of the staff's needs, personal lives and responsibilities. They are flexible, accommodating and empathetic towards illnesses, family matters, etc. I was studying full time while working at the firm and they did their best to help me balance both work and school. The staff and Melody are amazing, friendly and truly good people!

Great experience here as an articled student. Great people, everyone is friendly and never felt hesitant to ask questions. Dog friendly workplace, which was great as I could bring in my dog to work everyday. 

The opportunity to work remotely full time is fantastic, I enjoy what I do and the people I work with.  The company is successfully growing and flourishing
