Overall Master Packaging is a decent employer, but the shift schedule ( 12 hour shifts, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) is very tiring. Making the switch between day and night shift multiple times a week leads to a lot of sleep deprived, exhausted days, and you'll often be working weekends.

Management is a little amateur, but not overly demanding. They claim to value continuous improvement, but very rarely implement improvements recommended by employees. The plant is also poorly maintained from a maintenance perspective, maintenance issues often go ignored for many months, and management seems very out of touch with the maintenance department.

My manager was cruel and mean. I was harassed daily and nothing was done. She called me names.
She has an extreme personality 
disorder .
She tried to manipulate me, but I soon showed her. She is a very narcissist woman. 
Dress codes made no sense. 
It really depends on who u are.  A manager there, wears mini skirts and dresses with her big thighs and rear end half exposed . Another girl could wear a turtle neck and shes treated like dirt and told the shirt is too tight . 
Glad I got out of there.  They loose alot of good people.  




Worked here for quite awhile. Terribly hot.On your feet for 12 hours management gets down your back if they see you sitting , yet they can go sit   in air conditioned offices. Dust is so terrible it causes a lot of individuals nose bleeds. Dust from paper fibres are not exhausted to the outside. Can't imagine what this does to your lungs.Only plus is wages but work hard in extreme conditions to earn the wages and give up your social life

The shifts are 4 on, 4 off - Two days and two nights. 6:30am-6:30pm. It can be hot in the summer but overall, it is a great place to work.

Sunday shifts, day or night are 1.5x pay. Good benefits, RRSP matching and morale is pretty high. This is not a dead end job either; there are many promotions within.

I am glad I came here to work. I was unsure how I would like the shifts and I know they are not for everybody but having 4 days off is great and I’m not sure if I could ever go back to Monday to Friday. 

A day there is repetitive, generally 12 hour shift. I learned that hard work does not pay off, it is who you are freinds with. If you don't make freinds with a certain group, management will seek out a way to fire you. I did make a few friends there but it wasn't the ones that I could leep my job. So at the first chance to see me do the wrong thing I lost my job without warning. Be wary of working for this company.

TERRIBLE place to work. 
Management doesn't care and has their favorites.  If you are a favorite,  your basically get away with whatever you want including dressing like you a own a pole.
Nice image! They pay u bad wages but but intice u at the interview with lies. 
Not confidential either. 
Don't work there unless u want to be sick with stress. 

I take pride in doing my job well and always strive to deliver high-quality results. I am reliable, responsible, and pay close attention to detail. I work well both independently and as part of a team, follow safety and company procedures, and am always willing to learn and improve. I believe that doing my best every day helps both the company and my colleagues succeed.

No HR nothing done in timely manner everything on their time, pay kept being put in wrong account no reimbursement for it people steal my stuff nothing done about it , hr not approachable

Long 12 hr shifts, I could be inspecting the quality of the cardboard running up and down stairs all day, or working on another section of this 500 ft machine. I have learned to be a leader in this high stress production first environment.
