Being my first telephone job I was a little bit nervous especially seeing how fast paced everything in the office was moving and I had no clue what anyone was talking about . A normal day at work consisted of sitting in front of a computer screen attached to a headset either taking calls or making them. Most incoming calls were just to resolve problems or answer questions about out services. Outgoing calls were all follow up calls to people who had said they were interested in obtaining a master card credit card with us, I would call the customer to tell them if they were approved or denied for a card.
    The management provided a very hi stress competitive atmosphere with  cash incentives for the most confirmed cards given out and the first sale of the day and many other motivators. My co-workers were normal people just trying to make a living but not very interested in socializing. The hardest part of the job was collections, the reason I had a little bit of a hard time with this is because most of the people I was collecting were elderly persons who didn't quite understand the way the annual membership fees worked, Its hard to tell a 95 year old woman that she owes 1200$ knowing there is no way that will happen.
   The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to double your weekly wage based on how much effort you put into your job.

⦁	Scheduled meetings and JAD sessions with managers and end-users in order to understand client's needs and expectations as it relates to the overall goals and objectives of the project.
⦁	Demonstrated regular presentations and communications (verbal and written) with executive leadership and senior management.  
⦁	Acted as liaison between business units and IT development teams in design phase
⦁	Translated business requirements into functional requirements for Technology team to design
⦁	Worked in IT systems analysis, business area analysis, business process reengineering, and associated method and processes.

Working in a call center was not what i expected but i honestly can say that i did enjoy it. During a day work you typically can reveice up to 60 calls on a busy day which can be overwhelming at first. However once you learn the way of the land its a piece of cake. Anyone with a good customer service can do a good job. However you do have sale targets which can be stessful at time. If you are lagging behind in the sale managment do support you and give you various tools to help you reach your goal.

Poor work-life balance. Lacks clear strategy to achieve vision. Huge disconnect between leadership and entry/mid-level staff. Tokenization of African staff. Unresponsive to employee feedback. Highly discriminatory to Black Canadians. 

Lots of resources, pay is good. But, toxic work culture and environment. Diversity and inclusivity need to be taken more seriously.

Intelligent, hard working staff - result driven.  Fast paced environment.  Exciting industry.  You will be involved in challenging projects. Helped clients with their MasterCard bills. Everyone worked all shifts. They ended up laying everyone off as this centre was not very busy. They didn’t provide free lunches at any time and it was a very quiet wirk place

This is a good place for entry level customer service positions. It has a lot of learning potential - both dealing with external customers and internal superiors/co-workers and management. 

Downside of working here is - noisy environment and very compact seating arrangement. You always feel like being suffocated.

i was a 3rd party call center for pc mastercard. in a nutshell people dont call you because their happy with their card. This job was very stressful, once you ended one call another would come in instantlly most of hte time. so you had no downtime.

Joined this company as an IT admin , back in 2019 . As a new immigrant i would not suggest this company - pay is very good but people are still at the kindergarten mindset 

Very diverse working place. I also had the privilege to work for new business lines: such as the Government and Public Sector and Global Merchants, expanding new categories for additional card payment projects.
