I've worked here for over a year and can safely say this company is not worth the hassle.

I spend all day being monitored and scrutinized by the management for my work production. After spending 10 hours a day making hundreds of parts I will often come into work the next day to be told I did not produce enough parts and need to step into the Production Managers office for a talk.

All my requests for more training or support has been outright ignored and discouraged by management. My requests for higher pay has been denied. They've kept me stuck in one position and will not give me fair compensation.

My supervisors routinely scold me and tell the managers about any and all problems with my work.

Any scrap pieces were held against me during any type of review.

This place has a very toxic environment that is not friendly to newcomers or even experienced machinists. The employees that have been with the company for a long time are not friendly.

My co-workers were not supportive in any way, often leaving me to struggle.

At the end of the day I've been overworked, underpaid and disrespected by the company. I would not recommend working for Matchtech Manufacturing.

I’ve been working at MatchTech for over a year and have had a really positive experience. The expectations are high, which is to be expected in a busy manufacturing environment, but the support is there if you’re willing to work hard and communicate openly.

The company was transparent about pay—what I was offered at hire is exactly what I’ve been paid. Wage reviews happen annually, and that process has been consistent, even if late at times. I’ve learned a lot on the job and appreciate the way my coworkers are willing to help out when needed.

Yes, the work can be repetitive and fast-paced, but that comes with the territory in production. What matters most is how you’re treated, and I’ve always felt respected here. Management is approachable, and there’s been noticeable effort in improving communication and organization across shifts.

When I first started here it was exciting, extremely interesting programs and parts were being made, many of my coworkers loved working here and talked very highly of everything about the company. The change in system used in the shop, change in customer and product (Almost completely production now) and recent changes from management has rapidly and negatively changed the atmosphere and the way people feel from day to day. It is a good job for experiencing new things  and those that don’t mind generally doing the same thing everyday with management on you about timing and production numbers.. but generally is a good fit for someone looking to just be an operator

Dont know where to begin. much congested and thus less safe. very limited lifting equipment, allmost all the tasks require heavy back breaking manual labour. wage is fair but commuting would burn that up just as fast as gasoline. Overtime is expected just like part of the job. outsiders should stay clear in my opinion since wont feel that they belong. since my first day they would track the cycles and ask to hit physically impossible target just to justify their alleged math. small company in terms of equipments for ease by cormporation when comes to the employees tracking. 

HR is partly outsourced so some policies aren't properly communicated.

The department manager doesn't have machining experience and he focuses on numbers instead of quality. There are many skilled machinists who aren't able to reach their potential because of the unrealistic expectations. 

Everyone is quitting and the company also terminated employees when we are behind on orders and already understaffed. 

I'd say it's a normal workday. One of the leaders/owners is very patient and collaborative and I've learned a lot from him. He's an expert machinist, and a great problem solver. 

Management is fair, and since my time being there the communication has improved a great deal, and the culture has improved as well. 

The environment is fairly fast paced, but the business is growing. So while it's busy there are opportunities to learn new skills.

The environment in here to work together as  a team is great, with everyone willing to lend a hand when needed. The company places a strong emphasis on continuous learning and development, which has greatly benefited my career as a CNC Programmer. Sometimes the workload can be intense, but the supportive management makes up for it when I need the time off. I joined MatchTech in March 2022 and highly recommend it to anyone looking to grow in the CNC machining industry.

i make 100s of parts a day and every time i don't make their impossibly high quota i get called into the managers office and told im replaceable. i stand there for 10 hours a day making the same thing over and over again, doing my best only to be met with toxicity. im getting completely taken advantage of. i get paid well below what they advertised. my benefits cover almost nothing. i rarely see the same people work here for long due to high turnover. not worth it

Was hired and promised $28/hr and received $20/hr with a weak promise to up it after probation. After almost 2 years working there I went up $2. 

The work is brain numbing production. The benefits cover almost nothing. The managers only care about their profits. Every single issue was met with threats of termination by management. 

The company is a revolving door of workers from how often they "let people go".

I was welcomed I to the Matchtech family November 2021 as a CNC Machinist. I am very happy with the work the we do here. I find that everyday presents new challenges and the team work well together to solve problems. This company is not afraid of utilizing technology,  and actively looks for better ways to manufacture products. Management is easy to work with and the commute is not to bad. Highly recommend working here.
