As a Packaging operator you run a packaging line and have to clean it regularly to meet high standards.
I learned how to follow GMP, FDA and Health Canada standards.
The management seemed very unorganized regarding it's employees but is great regarding it's products and processes.
Co-workers change quite frequently because you are on an off shift and it is contract work.
The hardest part of the job is all of the bending, and kneeling while cleaning... but it helps keep you in shape.
The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing that your product is being used by virtually everyone and it has to be reliable.

Great salaries and many perks such as; gym, cafeteria, product sales, onsite physiotherapist and massage therapist. Very safe, clean and air conditioned
+30 year old equipment that breaks down everyday and Maintenance Management that points fingers and fixes with bandaids. .
Production supervisors bully employees and threaten poor performance ratings to intimidate.  Company cuts costs by not replacing workers and overloads remaining workers to the point of burn out.  Too many projects on too few people.

The most incompetent and over-sized management team you can ever work with. The number of management and engineering are TRIPLE the number of production workers. They are granted big salary and big bonus for their incompetent performance but want to dump all responsibilities and faults to floor workers.  They show no respect to floor workers include maintenance so when  the business is going down (of course) , the layoffs and benefit cut  go to floor workers first even cut the safety shoes. Don't move your career to there.

Everyday is a busy day to work towards the achievement of project deliverables.  It is uplifting to work with design engineers and reviewing their works so that these fabrication drawing will surely comply with the applicable technical standards.  It is enjoyable to work on the field investigation and seeing how the plans on the paper are converted into gigantic structures.

Don't join this company if you get a role here in Production/Processing. One of the most dysfunctional supervisors and managers you find here. Beware if you are working in midnight shifts because the supervisor in that shift is a very shady and a con-man. Micromanaging is at its best and rate of hiring/firing is very cyclical. Not recommended at all for long term career here.

Love working for this company. Only downside is that they have alot of contract workers and I would like to stay at a company that has full-time permanent position.

Excellent employer to work for...pharma manufacturing and packaging...good compensation and benefits...would recommend working on the processing side.

Not only do they allow employees to be bullies but often promote them as well.
They produce so much waste and do absolutely nothing about it. They should be ashamed. 
Management changes so often it ridiculous.
