This place is a very fast-pace past environment which makes your day seem very short which I like. Machines seem to be state of the art which they keep changing and upgrading to make better. Coworkers are very friendly and a fun bunch to be with once they get to know you.

I know other people have said management don't care about employees but I don't see that at all. I have worked in other plants and this one the management seem to care a lot about the employees. They have had Free Hot Days for everyone, on your birthday everyone gets cake and even office staff come and sing Happy Birthday to you. They even had a mustache contest where the winner got a gift card and won pizza for their whole shift, Even Halloween contest where everyone gets a prize that dresses up and the have 1st, 2nd, 3rd place prizes. Management have always said hi to me and have stopped and talked/joked around with me on many occasions. 

It is a fast-paced place so I can see it may not be for everyone. If you  like keeping busy and work hard I feel it's a great place to work as coworkers and management are nice plus best of all you help the environment.

I enjoyed working here. Lots of work and always something to do. The place can get dirty and smells at times which you should expect as it is a recycling plant. Supervisors are pushy sometimes but i think it's due to the amount of material that comes in daily and they want to get it all sorted. Office staff always seemed friendly and often smiled and said hi to me. Plant manager looks mean but is actually very friendly and seems to care. Company I feel does care they provide hot lunches daily for free and are always asking what they can do to make they job better and easier but it is dirty so i may seem like they don't care. Overall I enjoyed working here. Better forklifts as they are in bad shape and more clean up required daily and I believe would make it a better place to work at. Coworkers are friendly to you when you first start which made it easy to get comfortable. I very busy here with too much to do most of the time so you have no time to rest. Some coworkers are lazy and seem to get away with it so makes you have to work harder, I hope this changes. overall nice place to work but dirty and pay could be more as costs of living in Vancouver are crazy.

My experience working at this company did not meet my expectations. The actual job duties differed significantly from what was described in the job listing. The work environment was challenging, and the company culture was not what I had anticipated. Communication was challenging as the supervisor and most technical staff primarily spoke Filipino, which I did not understand. Supervisor often displayed unprofessional behavior, and communication was poor. There was limited diversity in the workplace, which could be problematic for some employees. The tasks I was assigned were often unrelated to the electrical work I was hired to do. I would not recommend this company to those seeking a dynamic and professional work environment.

The workplace is messy and lacks safety measures during work hours. In summer, it becomes uncomfortably hot inside, and in winter, it is cold. There should be systems implemented to control the temperature and make employees feel comfortable throughout their work routine. Creating a safer and more comfortable environment would not only enhance employee satisfaction but could also increase productivity and reduce the risk of accidents. Employers must prioritize these improvements to ensure a healthier, more efficient workplace. Investing in proper heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems is essential, as is maintaining cleanliness and organizing the space to prevent hazards.                                                                                          

There are multiple plants, depending on which one you work at. I am on Annacis island plant.
From my first day I am being trained on multiple machinery. The place is busy and full of material.
My workmates are great to work with. I read many bad reviews and I scratch my head on these. These reviews are bad but I do not see them here.
Management is management, they are ok. 
 Job security is excellent, as this place never closes due to constant recycled material coming in. Plenty of overtime if you want it.
Management is constantly cross training me on different machinery, been told possible promotion soon. I trust this, as I have seen other employees being promoted and I am now doing their job.

Check and replace the same routine every week, and if problems (break, tear, damage) occur, correct them.
This work environment allows you to work flexibly, but it is difficult to keep working without wanting to learn something new or having a sense of goal.

Because we make and produce recycled plastic, the machine always rotates, so it can be loaded, which always causes problems.

Even if you fix it, repeated work will inevitably cause problems

The work environment has been very stressful, and the Plant Supervisor has not been supportive. He has not visited the plant after 6 PM, despite there being a night shift, and makes decisions solely based on camera footage without firsthand insight. Employee efforts often go unnoticed, with no appreciation for their hard work—only complaints.
The work environment is highly negative, with frequent badmouthing among employees. The Plant Supervisor tends to trust hearsay without conducting proper investigations, leading to unfair job losses for many.

Its a plastics recycling facility so someone should expect working on not soo clean environment  nevertheless PPE are provided

Busy during early hours of the shift and during machine breakdown

Company with a good cause to recycle plastic that is important for the planet. Not the best work environment to work at as it is not very maintained. The place is dirty, dusty and there are rodents that are attracted to the dirty smells. Not everyone speaks English too well and some people are friendly. 
Some work practices are questionable and do not feel safe to work here. Have to work many shifts since people don't show up to work and it is constantly understaffed. The only good thing is theres free lunch as a work benefit and the job is meaningful because you are helping the planet. Working here is the last resort.
