Metalcare Group Inc. is one the best , Quality Management, QA/QC Inspection & Testing Company in Alberta Oil Sands/ Petrochemical construction & fabrication. This was my 1st Canadian Job. And, I am proud that I had the opportunity to be 1st time familiar with Alberta/Canadian jurisdictional requirements for Pressure Vessels and Piping System construction and Fabrication. Excellent management, I would work for this company again...

The people here are very kind and helpful. The boss has a lot of knowledge in this industry and will give you excellent advice.  The time-off is sweet and they are flexible with sick days and vacation.

If you are new to the job they are patient and will train you well, but you will need to try your best. The work is difficult but if you are a hard worker and have a good mindset, you will do well at this company. 

Great leadership, most diversified in the industry.  Impressed with the culture of attending to client's needs often with short notice.  Great team of people with caring and accommodating attitude.  Very little buracracy.

Working in Metalcare was a fun but short. It was a different environment as this was fly-in/fly-out status. You were there just only for the work and lived in a camp. There is no situation better than  living with your family during off hours.

The company speaks of many virtues and code of conduct but adheres to none. Never had any back up by management when required..Expectations, management and workload placed on almost all office staff is overwhelming and creates frustrated employees who loose their perspective.

Fast paced work environment and lots of individual freedom (as long you proved yourself you are diligent and follow the rules and justify your actions).  Management is considerate, accommodative, flexible to individual circumstances. Good place to build a long term career.  Client care focused company.

I absolutely don't recommend this company either as a client or as an employee. Very unprofessional, has no consideration for employees , very low standard of quality.

Camp residence. Good food.
Supportive management. Work system still being refined at the time I was employed. Work pressure manageable. Staff are friendly and cooperative

Variety of job opportunities within the company like Geotechnical, NDT, QA/QC, Lab work etc.,   People in office are friendly and helpful. Owner understands the business and knowledgable.  If company had enough work, I would have stayed.

workplace culture  is found to be excellent and learned lot. It was most enjoyable job. work load would be distributed equally, no typical day that i found, excellent management.
