After my interview with the CEO and other senior management people, I knew that Metalogic was exactly the place I wanted to work. Metalogic has attracted a diversified team of skilled individuals who are highly motivated and share Metalogic’s core values. I am extremely honored to work with these very qualified people and amazed at the skill level of the personnel from top to bottom in the corporation. I have great pleasure in working with my colleagues, who are not only very knowledgeable but more than willing to share that knowledge. This cooperative spirit has allowed us to provide our clients with excellent work on a timely basis.

 

The company has developed an excellent team spirit and an attractive company culture, including a personalized approach, which has played a key role in not only my satisfaction but that of my coworkers as well. Having in the past worked at other inspection companies, I find Metalogic’s commitment to its employees far above what I experienced anywhere else. Having been working at Metalogic for a few months now my experience has been very positive. The management is very friendly and approachable. As well, they are very engaged with all the staff and technicians which contributes to the strong team environment. Unlike many other companies in this field you are not just a number here. 
Metalogic is a highly specialized inspection company that invests in their technicians to ensure they meet and exceed the customers requirements. Training with some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry and using some of the best equipment has probably been the best part of working here. I have been able to really expand my knowledge and skillset, and I look forward to furthering my career with them.

Fast paced high demand industries often forgo personal development and social life this is no exception, opportunities exist if you can afford to turn down work and demand them. Typical jobs and pay are to be expected for the union jobs but if you stand out you get highlighted. sometimes offers of training get delayed by work scope and timing which is disappointing but not unusual for the industry and sometimes it only comes when your off rotation so you have to give that up to get the training.

From the president to middle managers, supervisors and administration, there is a high level of engagement and communication compared to other NDT companies I've worked for. There is a very high level of expectation and accountability if your on the team, it's not for coasters. But my experience is as long as you take care of your responsibilities there's a ton of opportunity to grow. 

Metalogic is the leaders in technological advances in Canada and the United States. Being privately owned and not a massive corporation allows techs to be appreciated and rewarded for hard work. Alot of meaningful contracts and work if you are willing to work. Best NDE company in North America both for a client and employee hands down.

The management is not honest. They do not abide to the contracts/agreements. Favoritism to some employees because of their relationship with the management. It is also a family owned company so if you are liked by the owner you will likely enjoy working there. 
Finally, there are no areas of growth, and no job security. It is a good place to only start a career.
Other than that, it is okay.

Management will blow smoke up your rear to get you to take the job then offer very little support on the job site itself, won’t have your back as an employee and will generally ignore your complaints. Fellow techs are decent, work trucks are new and in good condition but company provided PPE is cheap, if you even get it, many techs just buy their own. 

I worked with them during a Turnaround.  The work plan was well cpmunicated.  I was new to the company and was well recieved and respected.  Working nights tended to be rather slow but that was par for the course.  Over all enjoyed the job and would work with MIS again without issue.

New to the NDT industry and this company has treated me very well. Management is kind and understanding. Training is enjoyable because the technicians who teach know what they are doing. Overall, I am glad to be working here and can definitely see myself growing with this company in the years to come.

Since coming on board with the Metalogic Inspection Services team, I have had a very welcoming experience. The staff and technicians are very helpful and friendly. Everyone works as a team and are treated like family. If you are looking for a great place to advance your career Metalogic Inspections Services is the place to be!
