Working under this management has been the most demoralizing and exhausting experience of my professional life. The leadership here is a textbook example of how not to manage people. Ego and aggression are the cornerstones of their management style, and it’s clear that they care more about asserting dominance than fostering a productive or respectful work environment.

The managers here are completely unapproachable, with an inflated sense of self-importance that blinds them to the needs and concerns of their employees. They thrive on micromanagement, belittling anyone who dares to question their decisions or offer alternative ideas. Feedback? Forget it. They view constructive criticism as a personal attack and retaliate with passive-aggressive behavior or outright hostility.

Communication is a disaster. Decisions are made unilaterally, with no regard for the team’s input or expertise. When things go wrong (which they often do, thanks to their poor planning), the blame is immediately shifted onto employees. Accountability is a foreign concept to this management team.

The workplace culture is toxic and fear-driven. Employees are constantly walking on eggshells, afraid to speak up or make mistakes because of the aggressive and condescending tone that management uses in every interaction. It’s not leadership—it’s intimidation.

To make matters worse, there’s zero empathy or support for employees. Personal well-being and work-life balance are treated as inconveniences, and any request for flexibility is met with eye rolls and snide remarks. The turnover rate here is sky-high, and it’s no surprise why.

If you value your mental health, professional growth, or basic human dignity, steer clear of this employer. This is not a place where talent is nurtured or respected—it’s a place where egos reign supreme, and employees are treated as disposable. A truly awful experience from start to finish.

Typical day consists of starting the day off in the warehouse with a meeting where all the employees gather around the team lead/manager who do the announcements for about 10-15mins then everyone goes and does their tasks whether that be picking, packing or staging etc. If your a picker, you pick for either it be 10.5 hours with 2 breaks, 1 paid and 1 unpaid or 12 hours with 2 paid breaks. The warehouse gets VERY hot in the summer and they do not have air conditioning and rely on big fans in order to cool the warehouse which doesn't work. For example, if it is 30 degrees outside, best believe it's going to be the same temperature in the warehouse (this is for the 6175 Edwards blvd location by the way, i don't know about the other locations). The team leads and manager constantly push the employees to hit the productivity levels which i believe are unreasonable. For example, you must hit 55 lines (basically picking from 55 bins) per hour if your a picker CONSISTENTLY throughout the whole shift, how can you expect someone to pick at 55 lines per hour for 12 hours straight? were not robots, were human and we get tired. The job eventually gets boring because you do the same thing over and over, if your a picker you grab a delivery go pick that order in the isles then complete it and come back to spec ops to grab another delivery and so on. I see a lot of employees quit within a few months of picking and packing.

Its a reliable place to work if you want full time, steady income, decent benefits and time off sometimes without being given a hard time about it.

There is favoritism when it comes to getting away with breaking rules. Management can go onto the warehouse floor without steel toe shoes and outside with no safety vests whereas if an employee did that, they can be written up or lectured by the same people who do those same things.

Casual work environment with old fashioned minds and low regard for social awareness. Its common to hear someone say something disparaging about x group of people and people laughing about it and playing along. If that is unattractive to you, this place might not be a good culture fit. 

Pay is not as much as some other warehouses with similar work. Raises are unsubstantial and make almost no difference. This company needs people who will do as theyre told suck up and say no to nothing if they want to move up the ladder.

I would visit my three main sites and call up the other three sites to determine if any thing urgent was pending completion. I would then do my walk-around on the various sites, asking if there was anything that required immediate attention.  I knew this was a required step as many do not sub,it tickets so I did not mind as this was my way of being pro-active. 

I learned how to save the company money in troubleshooting methods as well as various hardware that the company used. 

Management was very open and fun to speak with.  Time was never on their side, but they took an extra 5 minutes to help get the solutions executed.

Co-workers also never had time, but we managed to help each other via blackberry/email or iSupport tickets. We were a good group and always in the process of helping others. 

The hardest and most enjoyable part of the job was to engage management in signing off on projects. I learned a great deal of what was required prior launch and what it took to get the solution into production.

These are what I do:
•	Review orders for accuracy and completeness according to checking procedures in a fast and successful manner with a working knowledge of the RF scanner 
•	Able to  multiple responsibilities including: stock, pull, stage, load and ship merchandise using different life trucks such as Raymond Reach, Counterbalance and Walkie in a safe and effective manner
•	Confer with other warehouse personnel in order to deliver shipments on time and under great pressure
•	Maximize the efficiency and productivity of the packing by helping fellow packers from checking, consolidating, packing and labeling the orders and making sure they are transported in the shipping docks  in a timely manner during peak season 
•	Proven ability to keep high level of efficiency and effectiveness in all packing and loading areas in a high-demand environment during the busiest time of the year 
•	Able to analyze and learn the order fulfillment system in a matter of a few weeks, suggesting key shortcuts on improving the day-to-day duties of fellow packers and loaders

A typical day at work involves supervising warehouse operations, organizing shipments, managing inventory, and supporting team members to meet daily targets. I learned leadership, time management, and how to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment. Management is generally supportive and focuses on meeting productivity goals. The workplace culture encourages teamwork and cooperation among staff. The hardest part of the job can be handling tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks during busy periods. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with a team to complete tasks efficiently and seeing daily goals achieved.

I started working here as an agency temporary employee picking. My skills were noticed and I was cross trained in different areas. In two years I have developed from an agency worker to a full time employee to team to a coordinator and an Operations Supervisors.

I got to learn a lot about online distribution, team management, leadership, service levels, customer relations.

Many of my colleagues who are coordinators or team leaders or supervisors were all agency employee at some point.

Very good place to work with growth, learning and structured progression planning.

My manager drives inclusive culture with all level of associates and treats everyone fairly.
Very grounded and approachable senior management team. You could not even tell who the GM is, so much humility with the leadership.

Just as with any growing company, there is some internal resistance to change, especially when it comes to technology or process automation. 
There are very demanding periods during the year that can be challenging but there is always support from colleagues that help to get through these times. 

I wouldn’t recommend working here. The work culture is toxic, with excessive favoritism and inconsistent leadership. The Operations Manager tells supervisors one thing and gives completely different instructions to associates, creating confusion and frustration.

If you're a male supervisor, expect to be targeted due to internal politics. Management is unresponsive when you actually need support. I once had to receive inbound shipments on a weekend, and my team, along with truck drivers, waited outside the facility for 3-4 hours because the OM didn’t show up to open the gates. Despite calling multiple times, no one answered. It was a new facility, but the lack of accountability was shocking.

If you're looking for a workplace with clear communication, fair treatment, and competent leadership—this is not the place

A typical day at work consisted generally of picking orders for shipping to clients. I learned to use "Vocollect" voice picking systems. How to operate a power pallet truck, as well as hi-reach truck, and narrow aisle forklift. Learned how to do cycle count, use RF scanner, how to load unload trailers properly with paperwork, pallet replenishments and put-aways to reserve locations. Trained employees on general duties. All staff, from material handlers to management were friendly and a pleasure to work with, regardless of any persons differences. Hardest part of the job was lifting safely while exceeding quota. The most enjoyable part of this job was picking and being the company best picker and achieving the highest record for most cases picked in 8 hour shift.
