Metropolitan Grill

A typical day I would start at 9am setup my station in time for the lunch rush and finish by 1 or 2pm.  The food you get to make is decent quality.  However there is a serious issue with harassment in the kitchen starting with management.  The attitude of "suck it up" or "don't be so sensitive" is so pervasive that this place has one of the highest turnovers I have ever seen.

The money isn't good and the management is awful. They overwhelm their staff, overwork them, and then yell when you can't handle it. Their staff all quit in the first two weeks of this restaurant reopening. Absolutely awful place to work. Unless you want to serve a bunch of rich lawyers that treat you like garbage, I wouldn't recommend working here.

Management uses fear, intimidation and coercion to control the staff. Very negative environment. It is next to impossible to go 1 shift without someone having a nervous breakdown. This place is a sinking ship. You will be treated like dirt and constantly yelled at.

The other servers at this establishment are extremely rude and had their own little clique. The manager as well was extremely unfriendly at times and doesn’t work well under stress. 

Like any restaurant, can he hectic. Not a place for the laid back as was very busy. Lunches were crazy as it is located on Steph ave. Overall fun experience and would recommend
