A typical week for me involved intensive tissue culture in preparation for antigen production.

Employees and their responsibilities were split into either 'upstream' or 'downstream.'

While management were hard at times on their employees, it is hard to say that the manufacturing process could have been improved upon.

The employees were very professional but during lunches everyone was family. It was a good place to work as well as to see how a facility should be run.

Manufacturing department is very toxic. Highly unprofessional manager. You are only favoured if you flatter and gossip with them. Your skillful work won’t help for career progression. If you don’t give them inside lab gossips by staying after 5, you won’t get a promotion. Extremely manipulative manager full of ego and would brainwash other people and empower only their decisions.


Very respectful and secure workplace, understanding management, a lot of biotechnology sciences in all fields to learn, no repetitive daily job and opportunity of moving up.

The company is of non-denying a good company to start your career as a new greaduat. 
Companies that manufacture specialized, high-value items can drive exceptional long-term profitability 
But the managment in certain department is really managed poorly. 


Good company to start your career in biotech sector. Lots of things to learn and collaborative and supportive environment. Management needs to improve people’s salary but it will happen once the company makes consistent profit. 

small to med company - allow managemts to receive staff suggestions to improve work and to recognize employee achievments.
Require creativity to deal with limited resources to achieve customer expectations.

This company is a nonsense. Look up for better places. The regret will reach to you. 
Microbix pay nothing and firing people on ease. The problems existing for a long time but people are come and go. 

Typical work includes cell culture in upstream and  purification and concentration downstream. Works involved centrifuge and harvest, 
the most people in this company are nice.

Production team is great, lab staff is great.

I had some run ins with management, but I was young and they were probably more my problems than theirs.

It’s a nice place to work. The company is growing, so you may find career opportunities. Good people orientated culture of the company. People here are tolerant and supportive.
