This Company you have some nice people here but not majority of the  people at Mid-City CONSTRUCTION  MANAGEMENT have Angers problems working at that place for a long time can make your mental health to go down hill they talk about having rules and regulations that they follow but when someone follow it to completely they become  the  villain in the Company  there are Lots of people with bad Attitude who treats  other like trash and   don't care about their workers mental health or well being they only care about how much work you can get done and how consistent and efficient you can be at in all my years of me working in my life MID-CITY CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT was the second wrost Company that I have ever work for!! Please note again not everyone at Mid-City  are rotten to the Core there are  few good underdog to  interact with people however majority of the people especially those at higher rank  in the Company who in my believe you shouldn't lead  people if you don't have people skills and if you are not willing to invest their time and effort into their guys or establishing a good relationship Foundation with them

Going home was the best part of the day

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having to deal with the old time workers in the shop.. Nasty people. 
Watched them fire a worker who worked there 33years . After he had a week off in mexico

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The shop is a very toxic place . The old time worker love to mess with you,screaming bloody murder,  or run up behind you to scream in your ear in hopes the you jump up and be scared.
Are pretend to be nice to you so they can stab you in the back with their buddies later?  I'm 50 this the worst place I've ever worked.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
  They  fired my boss a month And a 1/2 after I got there and then changed my job description.
 Then couldn't understand why I didn't do what they wanted.
 It wasn't part of my job description and I don't want to be a mechanic.

The culture was negative and toxic. Management were bullies, rumours run rampant and are shared during management board meetings. The job was chaotic and unorganized, they didn’t give internal promotions despite having qualified personnel they preferred to outside hire. Deadlines were short because of poor planning. Safety was not taken seriously and production took precedence over completing the job safely. Employees were burnt out, frequently injured, equipment was regularly damaged from carelessness and preventable breakdowns.  It was not a positive place to work and management never acknowledged your job well dones but happily took credit for your work. 

I enjoyed the first bit of time at this company. It provided what I needed for the time being. Over time it became stressful, and I began to feel extremely undervalued. There is a hierarchy from labourers all the way up to management. Some staff treat labourers as if they are less than human.

no stress operated grader 4years have terminal cancer everyone understood what I was going through and helped

work environment and culture was very tolerable

meeting with foreman for days schedule, check out machines and safety , start days work everyone on the same page

I have worked at Mid-City for eight years, they are the best company I have worked for. They brought me up through the company from an entry level job into management, teaching me everything I needed to know along the way and outsourcing training when needed. All but a few of the supervisors have moved up from the bottom in the same way, and have been loyal to Mid-City for nearly ten years. A company that treats employees with that level of respect is a good place to make a start.

Friendly atmosphere, family oriented

Laidback atmosphere for the most part

My roll there was busy at times when preforming field repairs and servicing equipment on various projects around the city

Really good work environment and really helpfull Hr department 
Safety of workers was always prioritized

The days weren’t that easy it was like it suppose to be in construction

I have worked here for a over 4 years, I started on the ground as a labourer and I've pushed my career from a skidsteer operator to a multi use equipment operator and truck driver, they keep alot of good staff busy during the slow winters Edmontons civil industry faces, lots of wonderful long term Feild staff and some good management too. Like any workplace there is good and bad people, take the bad with a grain of salt when you have to and you'll succeed just fine here.

In genera the company it's okay  just the management  needs some  changes..

Overall, yes but still off of newcomers welcoming.
