It took 13 months between my first interview and the actual hiring. 
The other employees are collaborative and it is easy to find the information you need to work (Desk binders & manuals, internal filing system). Slow computers, but good Network and excellent I.T. team. Old equipment and work methods, but the managers are always open to new ideas that can improve efficiency, although it will take time to implement. Over nearly a decade, a few colleagues & myself eventually left since there were no possibility for professional growth. You are hired to do a specific job, nothing more, nothing less. I gave my resignation 4 years ago, yet I cannot get out of their system, Phénix is steeling my RRSP!

I have been apart of this organization since 2011 and still am here because of the challenge that it brings every day. We may have years of experience in this field but we still learn and grow, which is what i appreciate. Working amongst lawyers and judges is a privilege and knowing that my job has a real significance in the execution of their job is a motivation for me to be great and become greater.

I worked over 29 years in the federal government and I acquired quite a bit of experience as an administrative assistant, coordinator of finance, training, travel and contracts.  I enjoyed my time as an employee and took my retirement in January 2018.  I am now looking for a part-time job.

Typical workday consisted of handling inbound calls for the provincial Ministry of Justice, up to 200 calls in a shift. Fantastic manager, great salary and benefits package, had to leave because of geographical relocation to another city.

One of the most challenging fun places i’ve worked. I’ve met some of the nicest people there. The biggest con is the salary but they have some good long term pros. You really just have to pick what’s your priority in terms of the advantages. 

I've worked for a year and a half and during that time I had to constantly fight with my manager over my pay while being overworked. The co-workers were being extremely toxic to the point you do not want to come back into the office after 2 weeks. 

I learned criminal, Youth court and family court . Servicing clients and lawyers.
