•	Prepared executive letters, memoranda, policy proposals, confidential materials for projects, papers, correspondence, briefing notes, reports, data for presentation using various application and interpretation of oral and hand written documents
•	Provided guidance to managers and team leads on human resources, including: position management; WEAR completion; offer letters, processes, branch WIN requestor; 
•	Developed a CEHSW New Hire checklist (a To-Do list to assists managers/team lists on the hiring process) and a CEHSW Employee Departure Checklist (resigning, transfer, retirement)
•	Maintained the manager’s appointment schedule alerted appropriate staff to matters requiring urgent attention
•	Prepared background material for meetings and seminars and collecting correspondence, files, facts briefing notes, extracts from relevant legislation from standard reference sources and appropriate ministry staff to assist the manager and staff in preparing for meetings and reports
•	Assisted with job competition coordination:  reviewed and analyzed interview screening results to verify accuracy, contact candidates to arrange interview times, prepared selection tools, arranged logistics and disability related accommodations (as required)
•	Updated a computer based tracking system  and hard copy files for records, correspondence and inquiries
•	 Utilized database and spreadsheet software to maintain records and prepare reports
•	Provided services such as making travel and accommodation arrangements, confirmed invoices and travel expense claims, preparation of purchase orders, maintaining adequate levels of office supplies and ensuring office equipment was in good working order.
•	 Provided orientation and training to support staff, temporary and summer students
•	Managed and tracked financial transactions, budget forecasting and reconciliation.

I started to work for the Ministry of Government since November 9th 2015 and it has been a very rewarding experience. My department deals with a lot of public documentations and it is a challenge everyday. you learn something new each day and it helps you in future so that if any situations come up, I am prepared. I have learned so much in regards to the different types of documents we receive everyday and it can be quite a challenge. I am most willing to do whatever it takes to do my job as efficiently and effectively as I could.The fun part is dealing with the other departments because it's like a chain, what we do in my department (Records and Mail Department) affects the other department.

One the Greatest working atmosphere. Extremely supportive. Really understands work life balance. Respected my school schedule. when I had exams and last minute projects they let me requested it off. Learned alot about vaccines and vaccination scheduling. In addition, the various types of vaccines that we're able to book for. Consistently provides training and refreshers to ensure that we can fullfil what's expected of us. Amazing training and morning meetings. I rarely have to ask anything as everything covered in the session provided.

This was an amazing place to work.  I worked with some amazing and brilliant people.  Lots of laughter, great support, team environment was excellent.

I had an amazing Director that allowed me to expand my wings in changing process, involved me in manager meeting to give my input.  He always had an open door policy.

I recommend this agency highly to work in.  They help you to grow and if you were ever thinking of wanting to do something different in your career they supported you 100%.

I have been working with the OPS for a long time and if I would go back I don’t think I would have started off in this organization. I have worked extremely hard to try to move up in positions and it has been hard. I find that the organization doesn’t value employees that are competent.

Such a incredible job. There is so much available from stress workshops to therapists apps. I’ve never had so much consideration from a employer for my own personal well being.  The hours are consistent the training is thorough and the support from your co workers is incredible . Best place I have ever worked! So rewarding and educating . I learn something everyday . Love it

Bad Higher management - Most of staff including management was being paid for doing actually NO-WORK - Really. most of time, one project for a full year. Lots of favoritism - low morality.. New management missed the actual HR training - also they need Anger Management training

Work place is clean and big. It is a busy location. So you have all type of clients, most likely nice customer, very few days you face a angry client. But Management step in when ever needed.
And after the client left , management ask us to go for short break and relax in health and wellness room, which is a healthier atmosphere for the workers.
