Very Clicky, mean coworkers (not all but enough to cause a lot of trouble), great resistance to any change. Heaven help you if you know more than the executive assistant, (which isn't hard), you will not survive the job if you are a go getter. They hate that. Officers only process limited cases per day, and chat with everyone for the rest. So while hard working ripped off people's lives fall apart, the officers are slacking off. Then with our tax dollars, they hire expensive lawyers to catch on on the backlog. Made me never want to work for a government organization again.

Started with checking incoming calls and then continued with data input
I learned a new database management program
Management was supportive
Co-workers were friendly and supportive
The hardest part of the job when you had entered all the information in the database and was waiting for it to save and all of a sudden the database management system would crash and all the info was lost
The most enjoyable part was learning more about geography and health & safety

3 years ago this job was perfect, now it is a slog, and it is entirely due to upper-management decisions. Lower-managers are given zero discretion so it takes 5000 years to get a decision on anything, and morale has completely tanked since the return-to-office 5 days a week mandate. There is a lingering feeling of anger and resentment in the air. 

It was an excellent experience,  I got the chance to study while working and I was able to advance professionally. It is an excellent start especially for young people.   

I learned a lot about government agencies and the appointment processes, as well as administrative skills and the general structures and protocols in the provincial government. 
The team I worked with was collaborative and fun to work with!

Providing engineering assistance to inspectors.

Accident investigations.

Really supportive, work-life balance is amazing, great benefits! Monday-Friday and flex work time. You are always learning and many internal opportunities for other ministries as well! 

If you are a people person, who enjoys working with the public, this is a very fulfilling place to work. The staff works well as a team.
I had to leave because my spouse  was offered employment  in another  province. It was very  regretful. I loved the work and the staff.

Great work environment with good people making a difference in many different workplaces. Gives you the ability to help apply your knowledge of difference work condition and to learn something new ever day

Each day was different and interesting working with stakeholders and members of the public. Workplace culture was fabulous, fair and career growth strongly supported
