My day was an eight hour day that consisted dealing with wholesalers, retailers, agents and consumer interaction from all across Canada.  I was a part of a team of four that processed orders taken from over the phone or faxed.  At the end of the day I would print the daily orders to then forward to the warehouse for processing.  I also had the opportunity to have direct contact with consumers that had issues with the Mirolin product by arranging our repairman to go to their home.  The repairman would go to areas in Ontario for several days and I would co-ordinate any where from 5-8 appointments per day. I had a fantastic supervisor with whom I am still friends with since leaving Etobicoke 19 years ago.

Packaging coordinator has a lot of duties, have to inspect all bathtubs and showers coming down the line, tag any damaged or poorly produced items, then wrap and sticker finished product. This was a very fast pace environment that was always in competitions with their other operations at other locations. Hardest part would have been dealing with management when things were not going right. The best part would have been the crews you were working with.

Building tubs and  repairing them to be in good condition

Working Monday to Friday 8 h and weekends if required

Changing supersize bathtub moulds for the forming machines.
And working with the co-worker molding operator.
 And I was not even stressed about it. I love doing the job at the company

Wonderful people work there, wonderful environment. 

However, upper management has a hard time seeing that expansion is needed. Understaffed and overworked employees. Letting people go instead of hiring more staff to meet workload demand.

I've been with Mirolin industries for the last 7 years. 
My typical work day started at 7 am and end at 3.30 PM. 
I worked with a small but mighty team. The company paid for my forklift license and classes. The most enjoyable part of the job was the the staff and management. Very understanding. Compensentation was great. 

I enjoyed my job but we were understaffed.
My job was 9-5 but I would work 6-6 and then work from home as well.

The company provides an in house gym that is in excellent condition.
Management is very approachable with issues and concerns.

It was a good and easy job, but too repetitive for me. The hours were good, night shift took awhile getting used to, but overall it was a decent experience. The employees are friendly and if you have a question they will help you out.

You go there and you are willing to work with calm and peace, they have everything to make you feel comfortable so you are able to do your job efficiently.

Mirolin Industries is a bathtub manufacturing company and I learned lots of work ethics from there. Really I enjoyed those days and rotating system helps me to learn all areas of production.
